sun holidays butlins apartment enquiry

Only once, it was the same holiday as the rest though.

To be honest, the amount of money we paid it would have been cheaper just to go through, and pay, Butlins. The difference was a few ££ and we knew when we would be going and where we would be going instead of waiting for a date to come back. Now we pay.

We are going in the summer holidays and we've paid short of £1000 for a silver unit for a week in the summer holidays with premium dining, plus 6% Quidco cashback.

When we went it was really annoying as we paid about £210 (before upgrading to Gold) and found they were advertising the same unit and weekend for £170 on the website site. Grrrr!! Annoying!!!

we had a priority reference so got to choose what we wanted online, but for us its less than half the price of butlins directly.

when we went to butlins bognor, coincidentally like the op we stayed on atlantic bay, we went halloween half term, mon-fri, we extended it to include the weekend of halloween so got 7 days there, and upgraded and it cost us under £300 for the whole lot through the sun, if we had booked it direct with butlins the same holiday would have cost well over £700:eek:, so there are savings to be made, of course if you are going close season, it will probably be just as cheap or sometimes cheaper than doing it thru the sun, but that could be said for all holidays

how did u manage to get a butlins, we also had a priority number, get one every time they do the promotion, but could not get a holiday at butlins/haven/park resorts for love nor money in school hols, and only after 3 weeks of continually trying did we manage to find anything which just happened to pontins pakefield:eek::mad:

i kept changing the dates we are going on the 6th june but i checked yesterday and there are dates available for butlins for the 11th july self catering and half board based on four people, then we just add the other 2 when i get my confirmation from butlins through.

also just to let people know that with butlins it says you have to pay your remaining balance 8 weeks befor your dueto go, but if you call them they allow you right up to 4 weeks before your due to pay it off if things get a little tight lol

oh right, for 1 it is no good for us as ween need out of school time, and 2, i think i will use your tip next time and just put 4 people, then add the 5th when we get confirmation, although i did try a couple of time of just putting 4 in, and still got nothing come up, until this pakefield one came up eventually

I'd err on the side of caution if doing this as you'd need a bigger apartment so when you call there might not be availability and you'd be stuck with a holiday that not all of you could go on.

with the butlins holidays there is always the option to add more people so will have the availablilty as when you book with the sun when butlins sends your confirmation they always send a booklet with the option to add more people or families or friends could all go at the same price i have paid per person, depending on the size if there was 6 people added then you would pay for the silver upgrade or if just four then would be standard if available, but then you could just upgrade to silver.

yeah but youngest is in cot, so if worst came to the worst could always put travel cot up in lounge
