took a michael palin back i r&r'd in another store, two women behind the counter were same two on two different occasions (since i started r&r'ing on friday!!) that i r&r'd in that store:D

anyway got the dangerous book for boys and they scanned my 8.xx stickered palin book and it came up as 9.xx and yet would only give me a 8.xx discount on the other book.

when i had a wander round saw sex and the city season 1 for 19.xx scanned and sel 22.xx, r&r with a smile (for a bluddy change)

I "bought" (r'n'r-ed) to printers (posted in the mis-prices thread). I want to exchange one but feel guilty and know it will be awkward taking it back when I had a refund on it. I took it back without a reciept and was told it was needed unless I had the original card, where they could look up the receipt (from the c card/tescos card).

Will they see the refund as well on the same reciept?

I've had as many posts deleted as left alone and I had never broken any posting rules, maybe the thread should be changed to Tesco's mis-pricing thread and general Tesco's banter.

More importantly why does Redfox moderate this thread when he/she never seems to post themselves about mis-pricing.

Are we seriously supposed to swap thread willy nilly because it's slightly off thread or meets the criteria of another thread more than this when the people we want to communicate to are on this thread ?

This in mind I will say that abuse of other user (troll excepted) and general abusive language is not acceptable (Postie that mean you, even though I love you).

p.s. When I say love that a male sort of love, which as we all know can disappear in minutes and can change allegiance based on any number of criteria.:beer: :kisses:

still wondering about these...does anyone know if they come under the same "rule" as sels, pack prices and posters? can you refer to in store mag as advertised price. i have scoured the mag but have not been able to find any disclaimer. any advice anyone?
maybe it's just not worth the probably extensive arguement with cs!

Got my first R&R tonight on fairy liquid! (well it's a start!) But they said there was no customer service tonight and I would have to come back tomorrow for my refund!!!!!!! Tried for a pink Technika DVD player labelled up at £15.xx offer expiring 3/12/2006 but it was still £15.xx at the till

Being new to this - has anyone tried going to a 24 hour store shortly after midnight and picking up offers expiring from the day before? i.e a lot of the booze offers expire on 5/12/2006 so if I went in at 1 am on 6/12/2006 and the SEL was still there would they still R&R me?

Has anyone found out about the x-box deal yet?

Not sure what other people are seeing but stores near me are only just putting out the POS £20 off signs today.

Having seen mention of the offer being withdrawn I took a console wwe bundle (all that was out) plus game to checkout. The offer still worked, the discount came off so no R&R.
