yes the £20 off
the promotion was supposed to last till 26th december but stores i know have taken the promotion down (there must have been a glitch) unless they have fixed the glitches and put the promtion back on

Anyone know what the xbox viva pinata scans at - saw it at £37.xx in one store, and no SEL at another - neither had scanners (all removed from the walls!!) or seperate pharmacy desks as both are quite small stores

anyways, back on topic. does ANYONE know if the save £20 on xbox game and console is still working/ active or not?? have a feeling that 3 local stores at least still have it displayed.

i visited 4 stores 2day and only seen it in 1.

over the last few days theres been alot of talk as to wot combo wouldn't trigger the discount but nuffin defo??

find it hard 2 believe that they !!!!ed up again, lol

Maybe stores are just so paranoid about the £20 off XBox + game offer going pear shaped that they are not risking it?

The instore scanners are usually situated either on the fixtures or on metal posts in the aisles.

There is a link in post 1 to their locations.

Its not advisable to stand there, scanning lots of things, but usually possible to get away scanning the odd thing.

Some posters dont use these at all, and reckon their use has contributed to store bans and refusals of RandR.....as if youve scanned it, you know the price you expect to pay.

If your store has an opticians, try there, or even try a till operator at the other end of the store.

The self service tills can also scan items, but theyre usually near the entrance, beside CS and security.

You always have the fallback of the 28 day rule, which enables you to return your goods for any reason(within the said 28 days)

Normally when an offer is on (i.e buy 2 for £1.50) these are also printed on the SEL. But i have noticed none are printed on the SEL's of the 360 games.

Constantine could answer this for definate.

From what I have seen, everything is still as it was at the weekend, but I believe certain(a lot) of stores havent got the confidence to risk that its correct, so most of them have at least one POS or SEL missing, to make sure theres no RandRs available.

Why they cant just get some SA to check the lot, I can't understand.

I had heard that on one game(it was posted in last part) only took £19.99 off.

Might be worth a try......if you can find the post.
