We trust genuine R&R's
Would you rather we said nothing...and let you drive 20 or 30 miles on a wild goose chase ?
I personally believe posters who have been here a little while0 -
I know..................why don't we ALL ignore Chubby then he might go away. And if there is any doubt about the TV - go and check it yourself. This thread does not seem to have moved on in almost 22 HOURS!!!DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

Most definately Yes, on both questions, although you may have to read the misprice thread, take on board the information and go and look out for them...........
If a mis price is spotted in a store, the usual procedure from the staff, is to take away the offending label, so what was there 5 minutes ago, shouldnt be there now.
Its a question that cant really be answered, as once its been RandRed....its gone.
Hope this helps all newbies posting the same questionCouponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Excellent suggestion the chubster has the attention it craves, best if we ignore and if it's a genuine r&r i'm sure the pro r&r's will find it and confirm it.I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
Why do some products that Tesco sell come down in price by a few pence? e.g. the XBox 360 PES pack is now a whole 3p cheaper than previously? I've seen the same with books and games. Is it to keep ahead of the competition and be able to maintain bragging rights that they are the cheapest for these products? Surely selling lots of games at different prices must be a lot more labour intensive than if they were all listed at the same price?0

Just something to think about for fellow R&Rer's.
We all know T know about this thread.
If you were Mr T, and you knew the thread would be under threat if people were to get abusive on it, what would you do.
Personally I would get a wind up merchant to annoy other posters. When they bite I would turn it a bit personal then watch the thread crumble.
Please don't let WUM's lose us this thread. Always take the high ground. That way we win.

But not if you find a sel with the older price a few pence cheaper tomorrow
That few pence can easily be added again next week
Yeah I agree that it's good for the r&ring - I'm just curious as to why it's done at all.0 -
OK for what it's worth before Redfox gets hold of this thread here is my conclusion.
The TV in question scanned correctly at 12:30 and yet again at 18:30 on the way home. These prices are downloded nationally normally once a day, (yes I believe they can be overwritten but who would increase a TV by 2p).
Our friend Chubbie asked everyone to PM him for the details in some attempt to find out who was willing to forgive him for his posts over the last few days.
Those stupid enough thought they would have the edge because they had information that not only Tesco's didn't have but also MSE'rs didn't have.
But alas once the PM's had dried up our mate chubbie posted all over the place and listed all of the people stupid enough to PM him. This I guess was some kind of trophy for him.
So in conclusion
1/ The TV in question scans at £799.97 and always has done.
2/ Never believe Chubbie again.
3/ This smilie is for Chubbie0
