The letter is already on it's way!

I pm'd you earlier (hope you don't mind). If it's the one I'm thinking of I've got absolutely nowhere with a complaint!
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Just went down to my local store stood in front of the Sony TV, saw the £799.97 SEL, but just didn't have the balls to go through with it! Walked out empty handed!
    Nice to save.

  • Went to an extra today and saw Gordon Ramsey book stickered at 9.96, however Clearly visable, an old sticker of 8.96 underneath.

Bought it and attempted r&r, wish I never bothered.
CS initially stated that 9.96 was correct and there was no problem. According to them it is ok to oversticker with an Increase in price. I stated that according to sale of goods etc, that the lower price has to be charged so they then offered 1 pound refund.
They could not see that this was an overcharge and no r&r given.
Could not be bothered to argue and raise profile for a 10 pound book.

But overstickering with a higher price tut tut:mad:

Hi all, I have been lurking for quite some time and have been trying my hand aty R&Ring this week. Had two bad experiences R&Ring in the last 24hrs. First was yesterday evening I purchased some pork chops, chicken and belly pork. This resulted in a duty manager and colleague confronting me at rhe CS desk accusing me of dishoestly trying to abuse the returns policy. Result, no R&R, took a refund.

Second occasion was today at an express. Found a 25% sign still in place, bought some champers. Duty Manager refused R&R after speaking on the phoner to a manager. I rang CS on my mobile, they too resused, even after I spoke to supervisor. I left with goods , receipt and SEL offer.

I have mailed Sir T over the first incident and rung CS, received a promise of a call back from CS but nothing materialised and no reply from Sir T but he has read it.

Re the second incident I have sent a recorded delivery letter to Head office giving them 7 days to pay up else I will issue a small claim in the local court. Will wait and see.

    WHat a bunch of "*&^%%$$

    Cheers
