R&R virgin here...
I have spent ages scanning the mis-price thread and wrote myself a whole "R&R wish list" to add to my regular shopping list. But on every occasion I've been in, No R&R joy -I guess my question is, is there a particular knack to getting this fantastic deal or is it just luck and hoping that you get to the items before the store amends their SELs?
Any advice would be appreciated as I wanna be in the R&R club.......:DI was going to take over the world but got distracted by something sparkly.......0 -

Clunk! I have just had a 'lightbulb moment' and my thoughts are that £20 will come of an Xbox/Game purchase regardless of the cost of the game itself. The computers are obviously set to register when 2 items are purchased on one receipt and so the £20 is taken off automatically. I think the only time there might be a mistake with this one is when staff do not removes the SEL's quickly enough on the 27th! Unless Tesco do something with the promotion in the next 20 days.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

1. there could be someone getting there before you?
2. there are misprices but you haven't noticed them?(they are found as much as being posted on here)
3. your store has very efficient staff
4.make notes of prices on tescos webpage 99% of the prices are what you should see in store0 -

Hey Brindles we've been saying that for days, its a multi-buy !, but they could leave a game out, much in the same as the did with the recent cadburys multi buy (bubbly was left out)0 -
BarmyCow, I'm having the exact same problem. I'm still a R+R Virgin. but not for want of trying.
All books have been restickered at correct prices, all the dvd's mentioned have the right SEL, even Deal or No Deal (my Dad would have loved that for Xmas!)
Well, I won't give up - I keep checking every day and then dashing off to Tesco.0 -

That's more like it
Gotta work harder now! Have you seen any 25% displays on wine. They are everywhere in the store. (Meat, clothing etc)
You get your 2k by the end of the week i'm sure of it:T

what is r&r, and oher than making sure we're not over charged why would u actually want to buy mispriced goods?
this is all new to me
and got the reply
Ask on the discussion thread here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....html?t=320565 as we do not discuss stuff on this thread - it is for misprices only - but believe me, misprices are worth it because tesco refund your money when you are overcharged and you get to keep the goods.
so i ask you
i don't get the point of this - surely instead of saying go away they could have answered me, it would have taken up the same space! can anyone here help?
I gave the reply and I did not say go away - I just pointed you to the correct place to ask the question as we are not alloewd to have discussions on the other thread. I also gave you the answer. I was trying to help but without contravening the rules of the misprices only thread.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
