i believe as you are paying for a bundle then yuo are over charged on the bundle so it is an over charge
where as if it says buy any 360 console and get £20 off a game then that would be a different story and the over charge would be on the game

Just for those that may be missing a few posts.
THERE IS CURRENTLY NO WAY OF GETTING A FREE XBOX 360

Yes some of the bundled console and game packages are the same price as the standalone premium console so no r+r's are possible

There may be a slim chance if we find a mispriced game but it is very slim as the overcharge is on the game and not the console.

If you want to help go and buy an xbox and a game and see if it works post the results in here I know someone is compileing a list to see if there are any of them that fail.

    Its neither.............it says

    Save £20
    when you buy
    an Xbox 360 console
    with
    any Xbox 360 game
When you are buying a bundle you are technically buying "an Xbox 360 with an Xbox 360 game".

    Edit:
This really should read "an individual or bundled XBox 360 and separate Xbox 360 game".
  • Sorry Sopplayer, I was on the hook until you got to the camping department, and I thought camping department, what camping department. That must be a big store she goes to.:rotfl:

I just thought your hubby sounds a little eccentric, does he normally wear a tweed suit and riding britches?, please if you could get him to visit my usual haunts it would be most appreciated, he might even manage to stop the security following me around as though they have nothing better to do!!!:D
    I had a plan..........its here somewhere.

if you are offered a 360xbox and a game and £20 doesnt come off then the overcharge is on the bundle however if they worded the promorion to say buy any xbox and recieve £20 off any game then the overcharge would be on the game wouldnt it but they ar offering £20 off the bundle xbox+game

    Hi Guys,

I've just received a letter from head office saying they might ban me from entering their stores

    2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute
    intervals.

15.. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile,
then yelled very loudly, "There is no toilet paper in here!"

I can actually say I have done the above 2, The alarms, every time i see those egg tmer things its wind them all up, and set alarm clocks off. Similar thing in the disney shop with bouncing tigger a few years ago sel them all going if the shelf isnt level they all end up on the floor.
The toilet paper one ended up with an assistant in the shop knocking on the door asking if I was ok, and the cleaner there ready to clean up. It was hard to not laugh.
  • ok, so here's the little signs that you've all been looking for ...

Not often you see these now is it ...

I think you read my post wrong, the £20 off is coming off no matter what combination you buy so far the offer is kicking in correctly.

The probem with the over priced game is that as soon as they try to find where the problem lies they will find that the over price was the game, the £20 off was given but it was £20 off £39.97+£279.97 not £37.84+£297.97 the bundle discount works out correct it is a problem with the price of a the game bought.

if you really wanted to be pedantic you could buy a bundle (console with game in the box) and claim you bought a console and any game the discount doesnt kick in with those but it is another one where they will say the game being in the box and the price was the same as the console alone you have saved £39.96 already. so could only be possible with the GOW package, but then again over buying the console and game on their own you actually do save about £20 even with that one.
