Mine don't.
You must be SpecialWho or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
are the tesco online store prices the prices you will get in the stores.0

This may have been said before, I haven't caught up after a few days ...
The £20 off when you buy ANY Xbox console and ANY Xbox game offer.... tried for a few days to find the yellow offer signs in store (as 99% aren;t displaying them) ... just that all the games have got yellow SELS on etc ...
Now, a few times now, I've seen 'Tomb Raider' and 'Perfect Dark' standing out amongst all the xbox games as being the only ones on white SEL's ...
Tried and tested ... the discount comes off straightaway for both
Although I find it hard to believe that some haven't slipped through the net on this offer though ...
It's also worth noting that on the receipt ... the discount shows up as:
Multibuy Savings
Xbox360 Console & Game -£20
Total Savings -£20
So, if anyone does get lucky ..... don't fall for any old claptrap that 'the discount comes off the game', it doesn't! The discount is on the bundled package of both the console AND a game.0 -

I was foolish enough (in the early days) to use my Club Card for all RandRs, after a few Golden RandRs and a letter virtually banning me from entering stores without permission....I lost around 2000 points in one go, and some more afterwards.
Bearing in mind it is £1 per point, they were spot on.....so I didnt even contest it.
I know others who have lost around the same, and one or two who have lost more.
Points are also deducted if you constantly add them on at CS, be it RandRed goods, or Wombled receipts.
I dont bother with a Club Card or Tesco Credit Card at all now.
Its amazing that any CS can call up your address details just by swiping your card.
Big Brother Tesco is definately watching you
I'd concur with that.
Just wanted to add my experiences too.
It's worth noting, to start off with, that CS staff in store are supposed to deduct your points at the time of giving the refund, whether it's an R+R or just a normal refund for any reason. It's buried away somewhere in the Tesco rulebook. Even if it's just 1 point from buying a mispriced box of corn flakes, the procedure should still apply. Although I heard through the grapevine that it's an awkward procedure which involves them having to phone Clubcard in Dundee to ask for points to be taken off manually, and 99.9% of CS staff simply can't be arsed so they turn a blind eye. To be fair, I think it's buried so deeply within the rulebook that many of them don't even know about it. I've never in my life had a CS person try to deduct my Clubcard points when doing a refund.
(Conny - am I right about all that?)
BUT.... What's happened to me and leadhead (and a few others on here) is that we've shown up on the Dundee radar because we've had to escalate R+R claims to Dundee. A certain jumped-up lying **** in Dundee has then taken it upon himself to conduct extremely time-consuming investigations into our spendng histories, looking at EVERY high value purchase, then contacting the cash office in the relevant stores to ask them to trawl the records and see if they can link each purchase up to a subsequent refund using a unique identifier on the receipt.
I know he's done all this because I saw it all in my Data Protection Act request. It's not as hi-tech as you might think, it's a really laborious procedure whereby every single receipt (and subsequent refund receipt) is sent back and forth via fax between Dundee and the stores.
It must have taken the jumped-up **** a few days, just to trawl through my history alone - it was obvious when I ploughed through the reams of paperwork that he'd put a huge amount of legwork into it. Quite sad, really, but I always knew it was nothing more than a petty and vengeful 'poke in the eye' at taxiphil.
In my case Dundee took it to the extreme by closing my Clubcard account and my partner's one, with the loss of around £1000 of points when converted to Deals vouchers. They could have just taken the points from the refunds, which would have been the sensible and fair thing to do. But no, they took them all. I'm currently suing (again) and have no doubt that Corporate & Legal Affairs will immediately rubber-stamp my claim and be quite aghast at the vigilante approach certain persons in Dundee have adopted.
[Interesting Footnote....... if you ever had an R+R claim via the aforementioned **** in Dundee and wondered why he was always so busy and took so long to return your calls, now you know why... he was busy investigating customers instead of complaints]0 -

I've not actually seen any of the POS for this offer, does it say "Any Xbox Console" or "Any Xbox360 console" ?
If its the former, this could be a winner...Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

The POS reads exactly word for word "SAVE £20 When You Buy Xbox 360 Console & Any Xbox 360 Game ... offer ends 26/12/2006"
I'll try and stick a picture up later too
(Post edited (again) to get the words right lol)0 -

I also womble weekly but make sure my points are added on another card. I've been doing this since May and no problems yet - I've had a few high value items too. Should I switch Or is everyone worrying about nothing???
Comments??
I think it is those who have sent in receipts for a r&r on an box who have had points deducted and are now on the radar, I am presuming this doesn’t apply to you.0 -

I don't think it says Any console, just say's "buy an x-box 360 console"
I may be wrong though, but it is still a bundle.0
