Tesco misprice discussion area part 15

are prices scanned on delivery constantine and priced up accordingly to store? i mean how do other shops get away with charging different prices say for example
i took a tub of bisto powder from an extra and it scanned at say 94p if i then took it to an express would it scan at the extra price or tesco express price? thanks

I dont think its the majority, possibly the most prolific.

I was foolish enough (in the early days) to use my Club Card for all RandRs, after a few Golden RandRs and a letter virtually banning me from entering stores without permission....I lost around 2000 points in one go, and some more afterwards.

Bearing in mind it is £1 per point, they were spot on.....so I didnt even contest it.

I know others who have lost around the same, and one or two who have lost more.

Points are also deducted if you constantly add them on at CS, be it RandRed goods, or Wombled receipts.

I dont bother with a Club Card or Tesco Credit Card at all now.

Its amazing that any CS can call up your address details just by swiping your card.

Big Brother Tesco is definately watching you

think about it
product A has a code of 12345 this gets entered into any retailers system and they assign a price to it.
hence diffo prices in diffo retailers

but we are talking about a national(multi national company with about 1203 english stores) they dont all price match

ok im no expert re tesco but lets assume that product A has a price of £1 in extras and the system can assign a price for metros as they are always dearer. not that hard really if u got a computer whizz.

same product diffo price in diffo retailers even the same chain. Mr t charges diffo petrol costs around the country yet same product

Just to say that I got 2 of the 3-title boxset DVDs in an Extra earlier (Tues) and they scanned at the lower price of £15.97 for the first time.

Don't know if it was just that store that had adjusted the price, but in case it's a national thing thought I would mention it. Did anyone else get the Goonies and the True Romance/Heat boxsets on R&R since Monday?

P.S. Congrats Constantine on your 1000th post (if you've posted it yet....) :T
