Tesco misprice discussion area part 15

Typical elements of this technique involve
creating or at least not preventing petty feuds among smaller players. Such feuds drain resources and prevent alliances that could challenge the overlords.
aiding and promoting those who are willing to cooperate with the overlords, often by giving them the lands and wealth of rebellious local rulers.
fostering distrust and enmity between local rulers.
encouraging expenditures on personal frivolities (e.g., showy palaces) that leave little money for political manoeuvering and warfare.
This technique requires a lot of skill and political finesse, as well as a good understanding of political science, history and psychology.
"Divide and rule" works only if the subjects of this technique are willing to go along with it (e.g., because it is to their personal advantage), or behave foolishly. It works best in societies where competition between noble families, clans or social classes was already fierce before the overlord took over. £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006Make mine a Golden £143.46

It has certainly worked on this forum. Mr Tesco will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Edited the goosed link!
I dont think it has actually, with respect to those that found the need to add the odd comment, I see none of the main players involved in the "slanging match"
Postie and his mates will be Postie and his mates....whatever anyone says
Each to his own.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

I think you'll find the environment has been created and nurtured rather than developed of it's own course.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
I'm posting once and once only as I don't want to add to this farce.
Postie - I joined MSE much earlier than you, didn't get an invite, though I think I contribute equally, but don't rape the stores. I share my wins with others and if there is an item not worth raising my profile, I tell others about it for the newbies to get as a first R&R. HOWEVER you add a bit of fun and games to the thread, your details should not have been published and you do share your R&R's even if I don't agree with your mass R&R policy. Stay with the rest of us and keep it going mate.
Tesco may read this thread, but the fact is they cannot manage their SEL's. Whether they print these threads off or not, the fact they are reduced to doing so says that they know they have a massive problem. When they cocked up the Xbox & GOTW 20 quid offer 3 months ago, they came on here to sort it, started printing off things and lo and behold, we waited another month and along came free Xbox's for everyone. If WLfc1 wants to take him and his little gang underground, and keep it an exclusive club so be it. Yes - I'd love an invite, but only in the same way I want free items. I know I can still spot R&R opportunities, and when the old guys leave this forum for good, along will come the new guys and replace them. I'll still R&R, and so will everyone. Incidentally I spotted the Bush 32" before anyone else, but someone beat me to the post. I won't lose sleep if I can't join the circle of trust - Imagine if Robert de Niro was the actual leader of the circle of trust as in Meet the Fockers - would you really want to be in that circle. Same rule applies for me when you're all fighting for the same pot. Where's the trust amongst thieves (not saying that we are, but same rule applies)? We may all think of Tesco as the enemy, but the enemy of your enemy isn't necessarily your friend.
I think time has come to move on. We've done Trolls and Ethics to death, now we're discussing other forums and who gets an invite. Who cares? I'll be down Mr T's tomorrow and guess what - I'll still get overcharged, with or without the Circle.0 -

As for the you dont care comment, for someone who doesnt care you are putting an awful lot of effort into spoiling things.
A comparison can be drawn between this and your very first post where you boasted about shouting and creating a big scene in a store.
Shows your true personality after all i guess.
