Hi, I need a CV soon, do you discount for r&r'ers.

    Hi Flo,

I haven't done one in anger for quite some time - the method I used in the 1990s was based on some US studies - all quite new to the UK at the time.

Have a serach on goggle - there's loads of free sites that are up to the job - much better than the work I used to do.

But like I said, back then it was jolly good....

  • Another R + R on the Stella/Becks - the same store I had visited yesterday and they hadn't removed the poster. The CS were so nice yesterday that I thought it would be a quickie - how wrong I was! This time the CS woman (different person from previous day) gave me the Spanish Inquisition. I was half expecting Michael Palin and the comfy chair. 'This has cost us £20' she kept saying, with a face like she was sucking a lemon. She wanted to know why I hadn't got 3 for £20, she insisted that the Stella was somehow different from the one on the label and she went up to the beer aisle to check out the location personally, even though 2 other members of CS had been sent there already. Still muttering 'This has cost us £20, she finally refunded me my money - but refused my offer of 4pence and gave me a load of coins.

I took them of course but was so nervous by this time that I had to visit the loo and ended up going in the wrong cubicle by mistake. Talk about keeping a low profile - I don't think I'll be going back there for a while.

I need tablets for my nerves now - or maybe the Stella will do.

    Yeh....thats not the offer.

The Pebl/Virgin offer is only a £20 spend.

Its supposed to be on airtime....which triggers the discount.

The RandRable one says £20 in store........you should be ok if it doesnt say "See leaflet"........as if the leaflet is nearby......it says the £20 must be spent on airtime.

Walked away twice today when this "explanation" was put to me.

Still managed a few where there were "no conditions" attatched though.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
