Why would I do that when Tesco's policy is to give me all the money back and let me keep the product? After all, Tesco has this policy because it is so damn certain it never gets the prices wrong. This thread wouldn't even exist if Tesco didn't get its prices wrong... ;)

You First Scan The Product So You Actually Know That You Are Going To Be Overcharged At The Till Dont You!! How Bad Is This Then!!!
Sorry, but the policy doesn't state that people who know beforehand that the price is wrong are not covered by the policy. You went looking for boxes of crisps in Asda even though you knew they were mispriced (to your advantage)...HOW BAD IS THAT????!!!!!

Quick thought do you buy offers ie bogof if so you are just the same as a r&rer,or will you only buy one, we look at the signs displayed and take them up on the offers , except our offer is usually buy some and get it all free, if you shop at tesco you should be pleased with our efforts to put things right , take the time to look at the first posts the very start of this campaign, it was not about getting it free it is about tescos charging the correct price look how they have improved over the past 18 months .

Would you be pleased if your grand mother was overcharged £10 or £15 on her weekly shop every week, or any person for that matter who was to frightened or just unaware to stand up ut them.

I use different names and addresses each time. I setup different email addresses if they want me to email my receipt. I even dug out an old phone & got a few freebie simcards to give to HO if I ever get refused.

I got caught with a PSP attempt a few months ago coz I used the same phone number as my X box claim. This was my undoing!

    I learnt the hardway!

Hi, I feel it is time for my first rant on this thread...Standby.

Firstly, I shopped at tesco today.

I could have had Mobile Phones, books, dvd's, and computer games for FREE.
As I didn't need them I didn't buy them, or receive any R+R's.

I have been overcharged several times in Tesco and I always use my clubcard and my proper details if they are requested.

After all, I am being charged more than their advertised price and it is THEIR policy to R+R NOT mine.

I can't see why some staff make customers fight to obtain their rights due to their companys errors / incompetence.

Whilst shopping in Sainsburys, Sommerfields or Morrisons, I very seldom get overcharged and hardly ever see people queing at their customer service desks.

What I truly can't understand is why a company who make so many pricing errors have the "Stubbornness" to operate such a policy ?

Sorry there is no humour in my rant, just facts, which I believe to be true.

you dont seem to have a problem going shopping in Asda to look for mispriced crisps as per your previous post, so please dont have a go at people on here.

Asda Bradford managed to grab the above pic of Sam from their store cctv when he tried to get crisps that were mispriced.

  • Wheres the justification for overcharging when for example a dvd is priced up at £9.97 and stickered as so and you are charged £22.97 which is something that happened to my grandmother after getting 2 buses home she realised she had been overcharged more than twice what she thought the product was going to cost and shes on a pension is Mr T??? No!!! "LEGAL - not!" they pay people to work and keep SELs up to date so why dont people do what they are suppose to.
This is not a dig at tesco staff as they are valuable but...for the management..
Us shoppers are only in the shop for probably a couple of hours a week when the employees are in there for 8 hours a day (40 hours per week)- the problem they are understaffed and too tight to pay for extra staff needed and the staff they do have are over stretched trying to do everything bar put a broom up their proverbial! to make up for the short staffness - rant over
