I had my receipt kept when I had an r&r this week.
Also had my receipt kept when I took something back & there was other shopping on receipt. Think they were being a bit sneeky but it didnt have any of my details on.

I've had that muttered to me. For the newbies, underneath the "If things don't add up" bit, it says "this does not affect your statatory rights", so if the item is broken or not fit for purpose in any way, you can take it back for an exchange - note that not liking the colour isn't a statatory right!!

It depends on the item and your profile at that store if you want to make that stand or not - I'd do it for a console, but not a £10 dvd.

Got a friend who works on CO for Mr T she has been told that anyone buying mobiles has to pay at CS desk as they have had problems with discount not coming off/ CO error.
