Nope, but some have been known to exchange the item, and so get a new reciept and then refund the item that you got in exchange, if that makes sense...?

Not saying I condone this however!

I'll post on this thread. It might be something, it might be nothing, I didn't try it as I was in store to get a refund on a previous purchase that I've battled for R&R on (the Technika hifi, which, ironically, I was the first to post on these forums about!) so I needed to keep a bit of a low profile.

Find posts by them and look for the dot in the bottom left corner of the post. If it's green they're online, if it's grey they're not.

spa2k - I am talking about those who supposedly represent Tesco, yet constantly get up everybodys noses with their moralistic postings, you and others will probably know who I AM referring to and I didn't mean it to be a generalisation of ALL Tesco employees on this thread.

Postie wasnt being personal, you will see yourself that the same questions get asked over and over again by newbies, and not everyone is as patient as leadhead when it happens. It IS a bit confusing that the scanner locations are posted elsewhere but the link for them is one page one of this thread and here--
