Tesco misprice discussion area part 15

Great, so now I dare risk the Roses r&r, but my diet won't be too happy about it.
Thanks for all the help, I just hope I can request an r&r and not be too nervous.0 -
Just don't mention the phrase "R&R".
You think you might have been overcharged, tell them why you think that, and above all, go with the member of staff when they go to check!0 -
Popped into Mr T's this afternoon on way back from the Airport.
Although not a misprice the previously mentioned Star Wars Attacktic which was originally reduced from £9.97 to £2.49 as it was discontinued was available. SEL was £9.97. I had been looking for some of the other sets so tried finding a scanner to check the price, but no scanner to be found in this extra:mad: , Got it scanned at the Pharmacy deck and it scanned at £1.24 so bought 3.
So if you can find them, and they are now hard to come by, grab yourselves a little gem of a stocking filler. Checked at CS desk for any of the others in the range but system said they had none in stock, although there half a dozen still on the shelf.
Ohh, BTW the Xbox core had a SEL of £199, so don't know if they have or are going back up, may be worth a look.
For reference can anyone tell me when the Game/DVD/Book of the week starts and finishes, as I was a little annoyed to miss out of the pickings earlier this week, plently of meat though0 -
Hey tescoemployee if you find any of the storesin the north west that still have any Wii's left will you get them to put one aside for me and let me know which store it is so I can go collect.
Thanks0 -

TESCO has reported a healthy sales growth ahead of the crucial Christmas period.
The supermarket giant said UK like-for-like sales - including petrol - grew by 4.4 per cent during the three months to November 25 and by 5.6 per cent without fuel.
Group sales, excluding petrol, increased by 10.3 per cent and by 9.6 per cent including fuel. :T
All this growth and what does Tesco offer it's employees as a Christmas bonus? £40 off a £400 spend!! What a generous firm and what an incentive for staff to make even more money for it in the future.0 -

Ah well im not complaining too much - My profit sharing is fantastic aswell as the 'Save As You Earn' and 'Buy As You Earn' share schemes - Iv earned a hefty sum out of these over the years and quite frankly im more interested in doubling my money through the share schemes rather than recieve a TAXED 'bonus' as i did when i worked for JS.
Infact the vouchers came in quite handy - I bought 2 Wii's for a total of £359.97 on this i got staff discount of £35.98, i also used the staff vouchers to obtain a further £20 off aswell as a double clubcard points coupon so not bad at all - And i also managed to get the hottest 'item' on the market at the moment which were put aside for staff who wanted them.Stand Up For What You Believe In, Even If It Means Standing Alone0 -
TE...that's quite interesting (the Wii's). From your posts I got the impression you were at/near management level and yet you took stock meant for custmers.
I'm not blaming you, but I'm interested to hear your opinion on the idea of "staff first and **** the customers" and how you square it with your other opinions posted on here (very company-centric, profit sharing, etc). Surely as a company servant you follow the idea that things like the Wii get people into the store and spending. But then letting the staff have them all negates this.
I honestly am not being judgemental on this (I don't want a Wii but I can understand those who do), I'm just a tad confused about the seeming double standards.0 -
Hi there
Just back from hard evenings work !, £200 banked as promised, have I missed anything?, haven't read the posts yet.
TE
There are still some tasty r&r's out there !, you just have to be within the circle of trust !
PS
Constantine isn't in it yet, but if he wishes to bring something to the table then i'm sure he he would be considered.
ps
my inbox is clear now for anyone trying to PM me (well we don't want nasty Mr T running off and correcting those misprices do we?)0 -
MrsTee wrote:Thanks for the info, sorry if I appear thick, Im very new and naive to all this kind of stuff...could I take something for a refund if I decide I don't want it anymore then?
Near the top of the blue board where the refund policy is mentioned, is another policy....We call it the 28 day returns policy.
Basically it says.....If you are unhappy in any way with your purchase, you can return it with the receipt, in its original condition within 28 days of purchase, for a full refund.
There are obviously restrictions on fresh food items, and DVD's and CD's, but most other items are returnable.......so there should never be a worry that you end up with something you dont want or cant afford.
Hope this helps ....Couponing....."every little hurts"
