Complete newb here !
Went to my local today armed with a discreet shopping list.Didnt get a damn thing !

I couldnt find a single sel that was lower than pack price.I checked pork n lamb chops,finest alaskian salmon and sirloin steaks.

Is my store just well on the ball or am I a complete spanner ?
There were alot of staff in the aisles with mobile scanners . Is this usual ?:mad:

Pretty much the same - given as a present, not my taste etc.

Tried this at woolies with Simpsons sets as the're a whopping £30ish each there, but was told it was company policy to offer nothing without a receipt. May try another branch on the off chance.

WHSmiths exchanged without a fuss, but said no to a refund.

It's handy to have the correct plastic bag for each store you try - I took both a Woolies and a WHSmiths with me and just popped the DVD's into the correct bag as I went from one shop to the other.

HO sending the lists off here round the stores obviously works well then. Not!

Just in case you missed it .....

32" Bush in lounge = hedge in lounge ... hence you needed 'Over the Hedge' !
