(Not exactly sure what CD was trying to say by cutting and pasting the stuff above. Maybe the inclusion of a "point" would be a good idea?)

was in T yesterday and noticed that s2 of the simpsons was stickered at £19.xx but the SEL was the same.
all the other seasons were unstickered and SEL was £22.xx
I have had several s5 rnr's, but have never seen the SEL at £19.xx for any of them.
is this normal?0 -
Just wanted others opinion on what is a good/fair amount when r & r ing. Is it a case of "well it's their mistake so I'll take 10 please" or are people more restrained , i only ask cos in last two days thanks to this board I found the mince & today Over The Hedge, I had 3 of each - what would other people do? If you are going to CS and have to front it out/ be embarressed etc do you say oh what the heck & might as well be embarressed for loads cos once the opportunity has gone it's gone?
Would love to hear everyones views - TaThe cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.

It all depends what it is. Also they have a bulk policy so keep an eye on that. But as soon as you have gone through the checkout the and they have sold you 10 of the same and their policy is 6 it's tough! As it's their fault then.
But meat you can get away with 3/4 packs.
The same dvd/book/cd i only go for 2 of the same title.
Wine - 6 bottles as you say you taking them up on their offer of buy 6 get 5% off.
Xbox console 1 if you got the balls for 2 then 2, but no doubt HO will be involved so it's easier with 1.
Also some stores really dont care, some do.0 -
Also the guy who got 36 bottles of moet got 6 in each store he went too.
Also Postman goes to about 10 diffrent stores in a wolf pack0 -
Postman, you're obviously experienced in all this, can you give me some advice on my problem above. thanks.

Hi there.
Yesterday i was overcharged on Busweiser. Old SEL of £9.98, charged £11.47. anyway tesco would only offer me the difference saying it was their stores policy to only offer the difference on out of dates SEL's.
I phoned the customer helpine and got told this was a general enquiry line and there is nothing they can do over the phone, and i would have to take it up instore.
What should i do? Any help would be very much appreciated.0 -
Thats Just what I was going to Say mate,
When the Fosters when wrong I had 48 cans I think, pushed the boat out and went for two PSPs and that was ok.
But if you start buying loads of something just because it has an out of date SEL then you are asking for hassle.
I always check who is on CS desk when I walk into a store, if I have never seen them before I feel happier doing more. If they know me I usually just go for 1.
Or just be cheeky like Postie and clear the shelf!!!We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -

Tell them that they are displaying said price and legally have to sell it to you at that
Threaten them with trading standards
then smash up the shop :rotfl::idea: £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006Make mine a Golden £143.46
