Afternoon all
It's ages since I've been on, and haven't had time to catch up, so hope everyone is well.
Today is day 4 of 5 days off so I celebrated by going to the gym this morning with the OH and tried kettlebell exercise. OMG it hurts! I'm struggling to walk or lift my arms; it really was a full hour of unending torture. Even OH who is some kind of exercise ninja tought it was hard. Will leave it a week (have to becuase of work) then see if I want to get back.
Apart from that, we're spending the day at home. OH has some work to do and I have a book to read. Lunch will be courgette pasta (pasta made from raw courgettes) with tomato sauce. Dinner tonight is chive pancakes with fresh veg in a creamy sauce, with raw carrot cake for afters (not as vile as it sounds, honest!)
Have a good day all,
T xx0 -
Very breezy here in the Midlands. Nothing much happening in the Pincher household today - last night was a late one at DH's amazing gig, so we're both tired and deaf this morning.
Pictures from last night are up on FB and seemingly well received as far away as Thailand. That should sort out all the people who said they were coming and then just didn't show!
Washing is on the line, so clean sheets tonight, houseplants watered, kitchen swished and swiped and....the sourdough starter I started on Saturday has just had its first meal and it sitting on the windowsill enjoying the sunshine.
Not sure I will do anything more imaginative in the kitchen than open a can of beans today, but it won't hurt him!
Really not sure about this Bin Laden business...

LouLou You sound like you are doing really well! Well done you. You have done so much more than me.
I have loads to do but instead, I have been mooching about, not sitting down, but not getting much done either.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Afternoon All
Nice and sunny here but a chilly wind, can't really sit out so been busy in the garden. We had a large tree stump in the garden that i had filled with flowers but that has now rotted and collapsed. Spent this morning breaking it up and took it all to the tip. Messy but necessary.
That resulted in the car being filthy so that has been hoovered and washed (probably only about the 2nd time it has been done and it is 5 years old! (Holds head in shame - it doesn't go any better when it's clean though).
DD at work and washing blowing away outside, had hm quiche for tea as had a glut of eggs. Will be glad to get to work tomorrow to give some away. Friends visited yesterday and were not allowed out until they took a dozen! Whilst I was at the tip a chap was throwing away a lovely big wicker storage box with a hinged lid - it made it into the skip that is my car and not the council's! Have scrubbed it and it is drying outside.
Still no word from DS1, I have sent a few texts and left a voicemail but he obviously doesn't want to speak to us any more. Would just like a text to say that he is ok. DS2 studying for exams in Edinburgh, last one tomorrow and then he is taking the car next weekend as 11 of them are going to Mull for a camping trip!
Hope everyone is feeling ok/better and enjoying the sunshine. Take care. XX0 -

Bad night here DS was getting greif on FB so i have persuaded him to delete his account With his aspergers he would say stuff he thought was funny and really wasnt and some other little darlings had been tormenting him about army cadets which at the moment is a massive fixation so i have had a chat with him and i am going to find out tomorrow about kick boxing so he can widen his mind a bit He frightened us a bit as he went out in the street last night fully dressed without us hearing him and woke up in the front garden at 2am dont think he was out there long thank god he had to ring on the bell to be let back in:eek: so we will be locking all the doors and big windows hopefully he was just stressed
Today i have done a home check for the dogs home and sanded and re stained a blanket box that was in the conservetory
Tea tonite is BBQ as the weather is good if a tad windy
Hope you have all had a good day0 -
