Thank you, DT xxx I've realised I need to be a little kinder to myself, which means being realistic. The targets are achievable. It's worth having them as it helps me to focus. I am a list person and enjoy ticking things off when complete.
Aw glad you're feeling happy, that's the most important thing. Do you still have the baby with you?One step at a time0 -
Hi DT, just caught up and congratulations on the little one. Sounds like a happy home!
Lets hope february sees you feeling well again and the energy levels are back up xTrying to shift that debt!0 -

Hi I am still here but I am trying to be kinder to myself following your example. Things are going well but I am still under par and there is a lot going on so just about hanging in there - cappuccinos are being used as medicine.
Money wise things are quiet just paying minimum payments off my last CC but paid my large credit bill for Christmas and birthdays so happy with that and the CC will be gone when I get paid at the end of April and there is no chance of clearing it before then so content to let it run its course.
Foster children are still delightful I think one may be moving on in a couple of months which is good he needs a permanent family and he has been with us 13 months now so the sooner the better.
Hope all is well with everyone

Oh bless him. I take it not back to his mom. I hope he has a stable and loving future. I hate the thought of any child being unhappy and having to go through so many changes. I bet he's loved every minute with you :A
Glad you're being kind to yourself. We all risk serious burn out with all this thinking about money that we do! My achievement for the weekend is colour coding my 4 weekly meal plans with co-ordinated shopping lists....i really need to get a life :rotfl: (but i'm v proud of myself) I can't, however, believe how much time i've spent doing it!!!

Ummm, is it really sad that I actually quite like that idea
I notice a lot of us seem to be in the "be kinder to ourselves" mindset this year ... in whatever format that takes with each person.
When I started my new diary ... I felt like I also needed to do "stuff" for me but kept worrying that it would detract from the debt busting. But after reading a few other diaries .... I realised that if I didnt allow just a little time or money just for me - I'd fizzle out again, like I've done before. I think we all need a little something to help us on our journeys :A
Hope your energy catches up with you again soon DT, mines still only making a half-hearted effort to keep up with me :rotfl:
