    Thanks Frodders :)

We had thunder earlier but it's quietened down now.

If you want to see where the storms are, this website:

    Isle of Wight Weather

is brilliant - you need to give it a couple of minutes to load....

But, best go put the chickens to bed (they WILL roost on a window ledge rather than go into their safe coop!) and then hie myself away to bed

    hugs to all

and a very nice man on Twitter has sent me another link http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

which shows me that the temperature readings are missing my little storage heater of Tightfisted Towers and the rain is just skimming about a quarter of a mile from here. It's like a sauna. Without the nice smell of wood.

Have taken enough (GP approved) tablets to rattle and my headache/migraine? is finally fading - all I need now is some air movement and I'll feel a bit better.

But Minion decided to get the washing off the line as she thought it felt like it might rain!

Who is this child - and where has she hidden the pod with the original minion?

:hello: as toots says we are well just been busy but nice to know that we have been missed :) I ended up swapping a day as the SW's school was the local polling station where someone local to us was standing for election.

I have skimmed fred but sieve brain here has forgotten a lot so please accept hugs, congrats, commiserations as appropriate.

I am just catching up with F1 qualifying before bed.

Morning all. Cat number 1 got me up early by being a noisy nuisance.
Cats 1 and 3 are outside playing. DH and cat number 2 are asleep together :D
It is soo muggy here. I am just loading the weather website Jojo to see if it will rain today. We have to decide between bbq or roast dinner.
WM on, then I need to do bathroom, iron, do our bedroom. Managed everything else yesterday :T
DH has volunteered to go to Mr T

I must clear the top of the microwave. it's our kitchen hotspot for dumping.

Enjoyable party last night. Ceilidh and cheese. Stuffed myself with lots of nice cheese and decluttered lots of words :p

    Morning All

    Hi Max

Going swimming this morning and then I need to catch up with some ironing this afternoon. Looking like I may have to use the TD today to get the washing done. DH and DS are up, DD is still asleep. Other than that I'll see how the day pans out.

Sammi - hugs to you and DD - hope it all gets sorted quickly

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning

Another one here up early to feed cat, who is now curled up asleep on the bed!!
Cleared up entrails of some sort or another, goodness knows what he caught and eat, as I cannot find any other bits of it.

Just caught up with the modern age, (!) I can now enter my gas and electric meter readings on line, so every Sunday I read and enter the readings, a novelty atm, this is week 3, anyway this week it tell me, I have used £13.77 worth of gas and electric......at least I know what sort of bill I will get, as the last one was a real shock.

    Ironing to do
Ebay listing, one item has a bid, I have relisted it so many times now I am glad, loads of watchers.

I'm plodding along with the house but work has gone absolutely manic so not having much time to pop in. I was runnng round like a headless chicken yesterday - children, dogs, husband (the usual) and then I saw my new clematis had flowered. It's amazing how something so simple can make you slow down and smile. I've put it on my mobile phone as wallpaper to remind me to stop sweating the small stuff.

So true mudders. It's lovely to see things that make you stop and smile and relax instead of zooming around and not seeing anything!

Well washing's on and I'm off out for a run before I do anything else now my physio has ok'd it. Not looking forward to this first one after such a long break but it needs to be done so I'll start feeling like this :j again :D

Rain woke me up last night but at least some arrived at long last

DD2 had a massive melt down about the exams yesterday - 2 hours of sobbing and panicking.

Here's hoping that today will be better!

Haven't been around much recently - families eh?;););)

Have scrubbed yesterdays cricket gear which was covered in every stain known to man - very colourful - bright green, much red and lots of brown! Thank goodness for Vanish bars! Gear is now in the washer but it won't be drying outside today!

DS has gone fishing, OH is expecting to hear that today's cricket has been called off due to overrnight rain, although it's not actually raining now!

Hugs to all - esp Vanilla, although I was glad to see that your OH is in hospital - hopefully he is getting the care he needs.

This weekis ME awareness week - hopefully DD1 is speaking to the local paper tomorrow - I will let you know how it goes...and post a link if it gets in the paper!

Must dash - I have a hovel to clean...

    Morning all, ( yawnnnnnnn )
Kids up, dressed, fed and ready for sunday school. I forgot the boys have a survice to attend today, so need to work out what needs done when.

I'll go leave the kids to sunday school and then get the dw and wm on. I'll sort all the dry clothes too.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Well, I got a bit of flying done yesterday.

Still got 1 bathroom to clean, I washed the bath and lop mats......put them on the line and..... forgot about them.. I remembered them about 2am when the rain lashing down woke me up!

Also baked and decorated cake for nephews birthday, so a productive day....... so far today...... done nothing. Will see how long I can do that for! :D

    Have a great day ladies!xxx
