Can I use multiple conditional spend coupons at Tesco?
I thought I could so I carefully shopped to the tune of £70 as I have 2 x save £6 of £60 and 2 x save £4 of £35 both for sainsbugs but I was trouted today and could only use 1 of these !!!!
    Any suggestions peeps?
    TIA

No. Sometimes an inexperienced SA lets them go through (hasn't happened to me sadly) but they only let you use more than one if the total you are paying is the total of two or more of the coupons. So you could have used two of the save £4 of £35 if you had spent £70.

Speaking of conditional spend vouchers, I got a till spit for £6 off £40 from Sainsburys for their Smirnoff Ice glitch :j I also got a till spit for money off Tu clothing. Can I use this in Tesco and if so, do I need to meet the same voucher requirements i.e. £4 off £20 for example?

    How appalling is this?

I did 3 shops on Monday and 3 shops on Wednesday. I entered all 6 receipts into pricechecker. One of the monday shops and one of the Wednesday shops, I knew would return quite a high value voucher (between £15 and £20). The other four receipts, I just entered for the hell of it, so see if they came back with anything.

I didn't receive emails for any of them, but I could re-input the details the next day and get the vouchers. As expected, it was only the two shops that I had purposefully bought things that were pricier in Tesco, returned a voucher worth spending.

Today, I received 4 emails (not 6) from price check. They are for the four shops that didn't return any vouchers. The two that did, I haven't received an email for. Obviously, I'm not bothered, as I've managed to get my vouchers by going back to the site, but it seems that they're only sending emails out when there's no voucher.

If this is not a coincidence, it's absolutely disgusting tactics on Tesco's part.

They will definitely take the £6 off £40 coupon, but yes, you will have to meet the requirements and spend £40. Not sure about the clothing one, but probably. You'll have to ask.

I have never re-used a receipt or reprinted a voucher so please everyone, don't assume we all do.

I still use JTD or RTD because I don't have an Asda anywhere near me (as much as a1cat would like you to think otherwise) so at least this way I can get some of the stuff that is on special at Asda from Tesco and then claim the difference back.

Also Tesco's own brand stuff is usually better quality, or seems to be, not to mention clubcard points.

I used a £5-odd voucher today; really friendly girl on til chatting away until I produced the voucher - it was like someone had flicked a trout switch - she snapped at me "where did you get THIS?" I said "there's a website where you get one if Tesco is dearer than Asda" and she took it and did the rest of the transaction in silence

Coupons and glitches reduced my £30-odd shop to under £16 so I DON'T CARE !
You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow
  • trout switch - love it.

Think my store must have all had these fitted then. I think I must trigger an ancillary trout switch when I cross their threshold. lol.

Have been a bit poorly last few days, OH thought it hilarious yesterday when I asked him to buy cat meat, and he bought back some a box of Sheba, one of the pouches was trout.
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x

Is anyone waiting for a voucher back from Sat night? I have tried all the usual tricks but it is coming back as it is still being processed.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
