Don't know how to copy difference letter, but got £20 voucher for two Pimms (cost £40.48 minus £8 coupon for £40 spend).
Maybe now gonna buy 4 Grants @ £10 minus another £6 for £40 Co-op coupon, minus £4 difference as £9 at Asda, and just read there is a £3 Grants coupon in Tesco mag. Would this work do you think.0 -

Have just used a £5.93 voucher, courtesy of meal deal, one of the last two i have. The check out girl had never seen one before. Called team leader who went through everything and then said put receipt and voucher in till. Not used this store before. I said i think you will find voucher is mine. She was having none of it supposedly checked with someone else and refused point blank to return it. Trip to customer services lady who didn't know what i was talking about. Cut long story short asked to speak to duty manager, who had never seen one before either. He didn't know what to do but i eventually got my receipt back , they got it out of till for me, and he promptly gave it back unsigned. Not sure but have they changed terms and now keep receipts. The check out team leader made it absolutely clear that it was their property not mine and that this had always been the case. Think i'll keep to the out of town one for the last one i've still got.0

I cannot believe how rude and offensive some Tesco staff can be. When I've read about some of the experiences on here, I've thought to myself surely there must be a reason for the staff behaviour. But I've been proved wrong today.
I had to go to a neighbouring town this morning for a dentist appointment. As I had to walk past the Tesco Metro there, I thought I would pop in and do some shopping and use a voucher. The last time I had been to that particular store must be over a year ago, and I've NEVER used any coupons/vouchers there. I'm a Pricecheck newbie, receiving my first ever voucher towards the end of last month.
When I presented the voucher, the SA said she hadn't seen one before and called the Manageress. The Manageress asked ME to sign the voucher and to present the original receipt. She said they had to keep the original receipt stapled to the voucher so You can't use it again.
I disagreed saying they should sign the original receipt and give it back to me. There was a fair amount of wine on the receipt and if I needed to take a bottle back because it was "corked" for example, I would need the receipt.
She told me I couldn't take things back to the store if I had used a coupon towards payment for them!!
I disagreed saying that just because I used a coupon to pay towards those items, I hadn't relinquished my legal rights to goods of satisfactory quality.
She said she was going to check with HQ and be back. Of course I was getting the usual tutting, sour faces and grumbles as everyone in the queue behind me had to go to other check-outs. Although I had done nothing wrong, I just wanted a hole to open-up and swallow me .
I was getting redder and redder with embarrassment - and what for? Just because I wanted to use a Pricecheck voucher to which I was entitled, I was being treated like a criminal.
I know time stands still in situations like this, but it was well over 10 minutes before the Manageress finally appeared. She said if they write on the original receipt that the voucher has been used AND sign it, then I could keep it.
I left the store feeling deeply hurt and certainly shall never put a foot back in there again - voucher or no voucher.0 -
Hide like a rhino, me.

Can I use multiple conditional spend coupons at Tesco?
I thought I could so I carefully shopped to the tune of £70 as I have 2 x save £6 of £60 and 2 x save £4 of £35 both for sainsbugs but I was trouted today and could only use 1 of these !!!!
Any suggestions peeps?

Just had to resubmit my details to get a small voucher, as no e-mail had arrived. Somewhat cheesed off because my local Tesco's (a small branch) didn't seem to have most of the stuff that was cheaper at Asda this week on the shelves, hopefully with all those reductions to £1 I will have more luck next week ....
:)
But I'm having no problem going through the checkouts - I've been through the unmanned checkout, and there's no asking to see my receipts, just scan my voucher and post just the voucher itself in the slot!
It's so much easier than trying to use them for the on-line shop - I've given up on that, had to chase EVERY SINGLE VOUCHER round their system, and was pushed around from one dept to another, told numerous lies in the process.
The climax came when Customer Services gave me a different number, which I rang, only to be told this was the reception desk at their head office (on a Saturday morning, so I suspect I got the caretaker!). Spitting feathers, I retired from the fray, and have shopped in store since (sometimes not at Tesco at all - when the local store couldn't even sell me a round lettuce, they've really lost the plot).
All in all, an interesting experience! I'm now waiting for my Daily Mail voucher . . . .You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Thank you, I thought this had finished now and had a receipt for 3 x Cappuccino @ £2.55 ea and when I went to Asda later that day they were £1 ea despite Tesco advertising them in store at the same price.0 -

I'm suspecting that the downtime on Sunday might have involved a fix to it
I used a voucher which was out of date and the SA didn't notice. Checked everything else but not the expiry date. Not a practice to be recommended -- I did it by mistake!0
