OMG, cannot believe that Henlans & Bro managed to use more than one voucher per transaction.

That is about the only T&C that I saw Tesco repeat over and over again. It's about the only thing they seemed to get right, but not obviously at the stores Henlan went to.

    Is it any wonder Hen has gone against the 'spirit' as is seems Tesco have done pretty much everything he has asked them to;
    • accepted a voucher more than once
    • accepted more than one per transaction
    • not asked for a receipt
    • accepted more than one transaction per day
    • be useless idiots (I just threw that one in)
    • assault them! (oh no he didn't ask for that one, they took that into their own hands)

Jeez when you look at their errors, who can blame him.

It's funny if you look at his posts, how 'legal' he was in the early days - one shop at once, then moved onto 2 at once, then later on he admits to managing 15 in a day, LOL.

There are elements of these two people that I like, married with other elements that I don't.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

Sick of Henlans saying that each voucher is unique! No, the voucher gets sent to you online, the online voucher is unique, you then printing many of the voucher does not make each one unique. I'm sure you don't actually believe they are unique yourself, just will be your acting dumb excuse if you get rummbled.

Umm.. The unique part was about the vouchers that was used at the time. They was not a few of the same voucher used at the same time.

But on another note, When you do print another voucher is it DIFFERENT and not the same. HOW? There is a new expire date on it! :)

Not saying I haven't used a voucher more than once though, just not gonna go around trying to say it's not breaking the terms, when I know it is. Just as I knew using multiple emails and doing multiple shops a day was against the terms

I never said it was not breaking the terms and conditions, I know its breaking it and I dont really care. How many times did tesco breaks the terms and conditions.

You see, they stopped him for using more then 1 at the same time and he didnt have the recipts with him. And was released by the police as there was nothing wrong with it. I breach of a term yes, illegal no. If you think about it. They said no and didnt allow him to use them, (As per the terms and conditions) why they thought it was ok to restran him is another matter.

    :)

OMG I was well and truely trouted today. I should put this on the vent board but anyway. 3 companies, 3 attitudes towards the customer:

Tesco - attempted to use a brand new voucher today from the meal deals but as I printed of 3 different price checks I put the sheets of paper together to cut them out quicker but one of the vouchers was a tad higher on the sheet. You could piece together the shape of the numbers and I had the receipt but the trout was insisting on keeping the receipt. Same issue at another store albeit the numbers hadn't been partially cut off. SA was insisting they had to keep the receipt but thankfully a CS told her that was incorrect and simply to scribble through and sign the receipt.

Mothercare - saw a car seat at £99.99 on Sunday but today the price had gone up to £119.99. Their price guarantee is that if someone else is cheaper they will match the price. In store that's where it stops but if you phone them you also get a £10 voucher. The SA basically called me a liar. I asked if they sold paper gift cards and she said no so I produced the ones I had. If the attitude had been nicer I would have paid the £119.99 and got £20 off from their offer but now I'm home and have found it cheaper by a few quid. Their loss, my gain.

Halfords - got the wrong wipers for the car. The SA at the time had even checked my choice against their system using the car registration and confirmed I had the right ones. For some reason however they are wrong but I had stupidly thrown out the receipt. Did they query it - no. Did they ask for my address - no. Did they insist on a store credit - no. The guy actually made up an address when I would have been more than happy to give it and refunded onto my card. I even stayed just inside the entrance to the store just in case they were to accuse me of shoplifting but I don't think they were concerned.

    What a day.
