think we have all made up our own minds on what happened but if we don't stop posting remarks chances are we will get the thread pulled again and we don't want that to happen do we?

Seriously I am sick of this!

Sick of the argument over wether or not whats his face was actually doing something wrong. Wether or not they were trying to re-use the same vouchers etc, the way the security handled the situation is disgusting! I have seen theifs dealt with with more respect. Abusing vouchers is not against the law.

Sick of Henlans saying that each voucher is unique! No, the voucher gets sent to you online, the online voucher is unique, you then printing many of the voucher does not make each one unique. I'm sure you don't actually believe they are unique yourself, just will be your acting dumb excuse if you get rummbled.

Last but not least I am sick of people pointing out other people's spelling mistakes / typo's, grammer mistakes etc. Not sure what people try to prove by doing this, but to me, it just makes them look like a !!!!!.

Sorry everyone, but I have been on DTD from the start, I have helped people out etc. So don't try and tell me 'if you don't like it don't come in here' or something. Just thought I'd get it all off my chest.
  • In a previous post I remarked that with most things in life we have to look to our own conscience. It is often overlooked by many things, busy-ness, greed, lack of compassion and even simple naivety.

Whatever the full story behind the recent discussion who are any of us to judge. None of us know the full story. However, I also think the poster was provocative to a point, knowing full well that this forum is full of not only helpful people but also those who are quick to pounce. It is those who have been quick to pass judgment who have given this story an element of "chinese whispers" and unnecessary credence.

It is often talked about "the spirit of the promotion", I think we should all think about "the spirit of community" on here and now just await to see updates. Personally, as to the "stash" - I too have a stash, all legitimately obtained through couponning or dtd - and I am very proud of it. I aspire to a bigger stash to be truthful, like the lucky guys in the US whose coupon use is encouraged by shops and store managers and which has recently been shown on Discovery Real Time - "Extreme couponning". In my opinion, it is just human nature that some will push anything to the absolute limit, and Tesco themselves have been extremely short-sighted in not taking this into account. They could have solved everything by implementing decent software, similar to what couponnet use (printable coupons) so that only one copy can be printed and giving each voucher a unique trackable pin number.

In the meantime, please lets get back to what this thread is all about - price checking in Tesco so we can still get some good deals.

Today is a day when there have been some price changes in T and A - so hopefully we can identify between us something other than the "meal deal".

I'm not sure how people are identifying bargains for RTD but what I did was to look at the offers listed for Asda on the mysupermarket site then price check against Tesco. The only offer that didn't work for me was Duracell batteries which were pretty much BOGOF in Asda. Looks like a refund for me as I'm not paying £7 for 8 batteries when I coul pay the extra pennies in petrol and drive to Asda to get them.

Great show, amazing people, although not surprisingly, mostly obese.

Favourite was the guy who bought a pallet full of cereal and gave it to the church, then 'bought' enough stuff to make 1,000 boxes for the soldiers in Afghanistan, what a guy. It cost him pennies and surely gets him into heaven (he was a churchgoer).
