vouchers are in!!!
I got a huge 50p cos they didn't compare the carte noire coffee:(saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Grrr - just got this week's e-mail, and Tesco have stopped comparing Mullerlight - they're labelled N/A. As if - just because Asda is selling them cheaper.
It's easy to make your prices look cheaper if you stop comparing on the stuff where you're more expensive! You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Okay, some people have gotten confused about the vouchers.
For example I use two vouchers £20 each and buy something that is 40. (Not taking note of the fact that this is against the ToS), both vouchers are unique in the sense that they have different codes. EG:
Voucher 1: 4445 1234 5678 9999
Voucher 2: 4445 1234 5678 9990
*this is a made up voucher number*
We never used 4445 1234 5678 9999 twice in the same transaction.
Hope that helps clear things up for those confused.0 -

"Each voucher was UNIQUE no 2 same vouchers was the same" - OK lets ignore the grammar issues and concentrate on what you are saying;
Am I right in remembering that you were one side of an argument on the original DTD forum where you suggested that even though the same receipt created the ability to print a voucher, that each print of said voucher was unique, even though the same numbers were printed along the bottom, and so each was merely a facsimile of another (or a copy in easier language).
(If you weren't part of that argument I apologise, but in essense that is what you are now saying anyway).
ou try to justify yourself is that line 1 of the T&C say each voucher may only be used once. Whilst Tesco did not help themselves here, there is a CLEAR inference that each receipt relates with each voucher (hence the validation codes) and should in some way be cancelled so that it can only be used once.
You are right. I for one tried to make the point. Head against brick wall time I'm afraid, but just a way of trying to justify methinks. Tesco weren't tight enough with their wording or proceedure that's true, but the t&c's are clear enough.
As for saying everyone who took advantage of Tesco's own offer is just as guilty & there is no degree, well of course there is. It's one thing to spot an opportunity, like spotting a £1 coin on the pavement & picking it up, and another to walk the streets pickpocketing. Again it's self-justification.
I can hand on heart say I'm not one bit jealous. The opposite in fact, I would be absolutely mortified if I had a stash like that. I'm quite happy with my little stock of laundry products etc. My only regret is that I didn't start sooner...that's it.:DTigger1000 wrote: »Grrr - just got this week's e-mail, and Tesco have stopped comparing Mullerlight - they're labelled N/A. I wouldn't worry too much, they are only cheaper by 7p, & if you buy in multiples of 8 Tesco are cheaper at the moment anyway.(They were one of my 'staples' too, but I've had to abandon them.:D)
Maybe it's because the particular flavour you bought was out of stock in Asda on the day you purchased?0 -

Probably one of the better posts in this thread.
At least someone understands the situation other than us two.0 -
