I hope your brother doesn't live with you, could you imagine a visit from the police. God knows how you would explain your loft !0

It's not theft though or even remotely criminal.
It's merely abusing the spirit of the promotion

If it was fraud then he would have been arrested.0 -
Fraud would be re-using the same receipts.
Multiple purchases, different email addresses, using spreadsheets etc - that's not remotely fraud, merely breaking the T&Cs which it was up to Mr T to police.
Which they completely ineptly didn't bother doing.0 -

I would call it , being enterprising - taking advantage maybe but spirit abusedont think thats an offense. Merlot abuse could cause some issues though.

goodness only knows what actually happened but if your brother accumulated the same amount that you did then perhaps a complaint is not the best action. Do you think it was wise to tell everyone here?weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -
Come on all... He only TRIED to use more then one voucher, they refused and he said fine... there was no reason to knock him down like that! I mean one can TRY to pay with a peanut for a 20GBP shop and they refuse it(of course!) so is it a reason to beat him up? it's T's promotion and it's up to them to make sure that vouchers are redeemed the correct way and they have all right to refuse if in doubt... And stuff training is what they should do - not sending the security guys to beat someone up! They should get their act together... But as long as they aren't able to do it I'm happy to get what I need to save me money...0

You got that right - stuff training is what they do do. :T But your right how hard should it be to train the staff that a voucher MUST always accompany a receipt and the receipt should always be signed.0
