Evening everyone,

Having trouble with the coupon printer again - I printed off the Fairy and Lenor coupons this morning ( 4 lots, 2 for Tesco and 2 for Sainsburys) and have just tried again this evening to print other coupons and I keep being told to install the coupon printer. Went through the procedure to do this but still won't print coupons. Each time I try it comes back saying coupon printer not installed. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem today or maybe I have been blocked again because I printed 4 of each coupon this morning??? Help please?

Opened up the starter kits and thought there was no mocs and found them printed on the back of the sleeve, I thought one was for huggies wipe but they are for little swimmers and any huggies newborn, would I be able to use these on wipes?

Looks like you have one of the older boxes - does it say on the outside of the box whats included, ie nappies, wipes and coupons.

Old boxes just say coupons ie £2 Huggies newborn and £2 swimmers, new boxes say £5 coupons on the outside of the box and this is the one with the wipes coupon in.

I have just printed the coupons again using a different computer, without problem.

Sorry but no idea whats wrong, have you tried installing coupon printer by trying to print a coupon from somewhere else, ie beforeishop and see if that works.

Celebrate - that is just awful, what a w@nker. And !!!!!! that you've had to develop a thick skin over the years.

Just to ram it home to all newbie thread posters/lurkers who shop in Tesco - you can use other competitor conditional spends there. This was one of the most helpful things I learnt from this thread and it has saved me hundreds - have also dared to complain to customer services and the training has filtered down to my local store. 'Spent' £35 tonight, used Sainsbos £6 off £30, followed by Boots £5 off £20 and then a dtd. Woo hoo!

:(:(:( dawnies DTD jinx strikes again - remember when i went DTD shopping and ended up losing my blackberry phone. Will am totally skint with no diesel so popped to Tesco tonight to try and get giftcard with my DTD voucher to use on petrol - that worked fine - until i got home and realised i hadn't got my change from paying in Tesco - back to the store i went and they can't check until the till is counted in the morning as the SA had gone home - a 45 min shopping trip turned into 1.5 hrs and i'm £9 out of pocket! :(:(:(

The problem is that most of these coupons have a link that is meant to be printed in a certain browser (i.e. Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari). When you try to print a coupon in a different browser than was intended, you will get one of those annoying messages

The trick below is made by just changing two characters in the link.

The following is a Firefox link:
hxxp://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=ri3peuo59687503&bt=wg&o=53740&ci=1&c=GM&p=TyQrvJAY

Note the “wg” in the URL (I have put it in bold for you). This is telling you it is a Firefox link.


To make that link an Internet Explorer link, you will simply change the “wg” to “wi” or “vi”. It will take a little trial and error to determine which combination will be the fix. The easiest way to make this fix is to paste the original link into a Word document, make the change needed and then paste the corrected link into the address bar and press “enter” on the keyboard.

If the link had a “wi” or “vi” it would be an Internet Explorer link. To make it print in Firefox, just change the “wi” or “vi” to “wg”.

You can also use this trick to print coupons in Safari. Just replace the “wg”, “wi”, or “vi” to “xs”. And to get a Safari link to print in a different browser, change the “xs” to“wi” or “vi” for Internet Explorer or to “wg” for Firefox.

On your toolbar, click on Tools, then Manage Add-ons, then Enable or Disable Add-ons. Look for the names CouponBar and Cpbrkpie Control. Both of these must be enabled. When I checked mine, the Cpbrkpie was disabled. Once I made that little change, I've been printing coupons ever since!

Thanks for your suggestions but yes I have tried several different sites including beforeishop but each time it says I need to install, I then go through the process and sometimes it says it has installed successfully and my coupons will print (but they don't) or it says I must close my browser for it to take effect, but again nothing happens. It seems to be behaving just like it did when we had the 'Wharburtons' problem but I was hoping that it might just be a glitch this evening. I will have to try again tomorrow and hope that it works.
