The biggest tip is to take a trolley on wheels so you can fill it full of the books you get when you go in which are full of coupons. There are at least 2 entrances they stand at giving them out and we usually go through each one loadsa times and ask for a few books if they only give one or two. Then near the end of the day go back and hopefully they will let you do what they did with us in Nov and help yourself to as many as you can carry (283:D). There is also lots of coupons on stands especially Wall's Carte D'Or Ice cream stand where there is lots of ice cream and sweet stuff to eat. Other stands have cheese and things to eat plus wine, whisky etc to drink but only little samples, but you can get as many as you want.
The Olive and Good food magazines have a stand giving a great free gift if you sign up, so do that and then just cancel the dd when you get home;). I have done this twice now and have had no problem cancelling.
You will probably get enough samples to last you for lunch but def not enough to fill you up for the day. I would take drinks with you water/cans etc as they are expensive to buy and there are no free samples.
There is a weatherspoons pub next door to the exhibition where you can get the usual meals/food there and the drinks etc are similiar to normal weathrspoons prices.

Any other questions just ask. What day are you going and have you got your tickets? Tickets are cheap if you buy them after 1pm (think, could be 12), either half price or less, Mad might remember as he bought one last year. If you have enough points you can get tickets with your Tesco clubcard points.

All, please leave enough books for BW to beat her record of last year  Hopefully she will be just as generous with her excess books, and she even tears the right pages out :D Will have just about run out of free milk by then ;)

Still gutted about having to miss last years, won free tickets with a meet and greet with James Martin all the shows etc and me and DD went down with suspect swine flu the day before, tried ringing the comp to apologise and explain but being Sunday there was no one there, felt guilty about him missing out on meeting me:(:p:( OH offered to take us but would have had to have been wheeled around, just couldn't move - Where do you get bath chairs these days :o :rotfl:- Took over two weeks to get over it so it was defo summat not right
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

Yes,agree, didn't make that clear .... I do know this...but I filled up at my local Tesco store, not an Express....the till spit did actually name the Extra Store I had got it from and it did actually say 'to be used only at ****** Extra ......

Oh I see. That's different from previous Tesco 5p off a litre promotions. From what I recall anyway.

Must admit the 3 for £3 annoys me too, who gets through 12pints of T's milk before it goes off?!

So Friday, ignores the milk at T's.... finishes shopping there, goes to M's, for things T's don't sell.... goes for the 2 for £2..... and no 4 pints to be seen!!! Really begrudged buying a 6 pint, and it effectively costing me more, but had frozen things and didn't then have the time to go back to T's! Otherwise I would have got 2 there, and claimed RTD :)

I've found milk & cream from M's always lasts well beyond it's use by date, whereas with T's, you're lucky if its still ok the day before the use by date :(

Me I buy 6 a week 4 in the freezer and 2 out my 2 drink milk like its going out of fashion but the smallest is only 1 :D
If it's cheap I Like it. If its Free I love it!

Thanks to Clozza I registered for yet another newsletter. Once I had done that I could print a voucher- so I pressed print.
2 Blue Dragon vouchers, 1 venus embrace voucher and 8 pro active vouchers the printer has finally stopped just because there is no more paper. Now- the blue dragon and venus embrace ones I had already reached and printed out the maximum so its not like its been stored in my printer. This is most bizarre- pleasantly of course.

Have stocked up on the sauces (Well it's rude not to when T have such a good offer on :p) - We had the sweet & sour with chicken last night (Chicken from Lidl, £1.99 for 540g pack:money:) - Tasted really lovely etc but me and OH both woke up feeling really dehydrated this morning like we been on the pop all night....Anyone else noticed this, assume it was the BD sauce??

For those who don't fancy the actual sauces, I found my voucher worked for the dipping sauces, which I do love and use.

edit to add- anything with oyster or blackbean sauce really makes me feel dehydrated so perhaps there is a similar ingredient in this?

....... and to add, when i lived in ga/usa i was into coupon big time, and it was a tradition; that if you had a coupon you wouldnt use, and you was in your local store, we used to leave the coupon by the product so we could pass on some 'coupon fairy' savings to other people! always made me feel better after all the fab freebies i always got..... so i was in asda and a couple were looking at dishwasher tablets, so i gave them one of my quantumatic coupons and explained how she used it, and gave her this site address incase she wanted to learn more, she couldnt thank me enough and asked me several times if i was sure that i didnt need it!
:rotfl::rotfl: done my good dead for the day! lol

I've been known to leave random mocs near the item they are valid for, if I've found I couldn't use them. I was in SAinsburys one day though, when they had the Nescafe menu coffees on offer and I had mocs too. I picked up some for myself, but there was this lovely elderly couple looking at them, debating if they could have a treat. Their trolley pretty much contained on RTC items and they appeared to be on a tight budget. I gave them a couple of my mocs and explained that they could use them on they were looking at and they were over the moon. They had a treat they might not have afforded otherwise, so they were happy, but there is no price you can put on the lovely feeling it gave me to help them out. :)
