Thankyou very much CW, what a great tip!!
Yes, just had my coupons accepted for countrylife blocks in Tesco this morning.
£10.18 total spend, less fairy and countrylife coupons, plus an RTD voucher, left me just 6p to pay :j
And submitting that receipt, should give me £5.70 back on a further RTD
Point to note though, the self service tills only happily accepted 2 coupons, before the rest had to be authorised by the SA.
Well done Midwinter - what I am trying to do is make people realise that even though tesco price guarantee has more or less finished as far as most people are concerned, money saving has not.
Using coupons like most of us on here do saves us money. People think oh, its only a .50p coupon, but if you times that by 10 or twenty its a lot of dosh.
In my first year of being a member of this thread I saved over £3000, (being a bit of a saddo I actually kept a tally of my coupon usage, but I don't anymore).
So to us lot on this thread, the chat, the money saving tips, the coupons, but above all the comraderie is a very important part of our lives we check this thread every day, indeed several times a day, we sympathise with peoples problems, and are actually happy for those who have good fortune.
We have our little jokes to lighten our lives a little, and we do welcome newbies, the only thing we ask is that they thank Idlesaver on page 1 (and anyone else they want to) and join in.
So, I am glad you stayed, the more the merrier as far as I am concerned.

Hi I have seen some have used the country life coupon successfully on block rather than the spreadable, has anyone done it successfully in Tesco??
Thanksmine didn't have the block yesterday otherwise was going to try.Yes, just had my coupons accepted for countrylife blocks in Tesco this morning.
It will also work on Lurpak, on any other product, that is also not on the coupon or the T+C, if the SA isn't paying attention!
If, however, it gets noticed in the cash office, the chances are the poor SA will get a disciplinary(at least) and the store will tighten up on the coupon abuse.
Now! Where was that naughty stair??:cool:
:beer:It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0 -

I had exactly the same happen to me, so I used the code 1111 and Korma and it went through.
Don't think there is a code inside the cap.0 -

how strange! They promote it on their website and it doesn't work. Also 1112 and 1113 work.
Am I going to get told of again VC?0 -
Hi PartMouse,
The pet man didn't know if it was a boy or a girl because of it's age, but we are leaning towards it being a girl (not really basing it on anything other than gut feeling and loud, shrieky squawk).
Any ideas why it would want to go head-down, belly-up on the feeder perch?
hiya
My girl Kiwi does that but shes a little crazy. Can i ask what colour the cere is? or maybe you could take a pic? do you know how old the budgie is?
hope your well?0
