  • Hello all. Not much shopping for me recently, I've been getting ready to do a big NCT sale of 4 yrs worth of girl's clothing (had a boy in Dec!) plus other bits and bobs.

I have just done a search on the thread and I can't find the Always feminine hygiene moc anywhere - and I know that I used 2 just last week!! Please can anyone help me - I promise I have searched first lol!

Morning all not much to report haven't been shopping this weekend but have been giving some of my sains vouchers to mum to try to convert her to couponing. Been a bad weekend my little girl has come down with slap cheek so looks really poorly (not feeling too bad tho) big prob is that I am preggers so am at high risk a d we have to wait 2-3 weeks hoping I don't show any symptoms so not
Much sleep being had round here. Anyway house all to myself this morn so I'm going to watch extreme couponing then hit the pc see if I can find any new ones.

I had a similar scenario when I was pregnant. Turns out, after I had had a blood test that I actually had immunity to it as I had already had it much to the surprise of my mother who had sworn blind I hadn't. I think its one of those things that you as a child, may be a little under the weather for a few days but unless you actually come out with the slapped cheeky rash no one will know you've actually be genuinly ill and thought you were just being a grumpy/tired child.

Anyway try not to worry about it, if you do get it at least all the right people know about it and you can get the relevent care/drugs. Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy it such a wonderful time.

    Evening all :D

I love this thread...it has help me get over the Tesco DTD withdrawal symptoms and I now never go out without a little pile of coupons ;)

Dead chuffed with my 'haul' at Mr T's this morning:
    1. Bought 2 x innocent orange juices - used 2 x £1 off coupons
    2. Bought 1 x Burgen loaf - used a 30p coupon
    3. Bought 3 x sharwoods sauces - used 2 x £1.55 coupons and 1 x 50p off coupon (already banked the £1.55 cheque ;))
    4. Bought 2 x Kerry Gold butters - used 2 x 40p coupons
    5. Bought 2 x fairy washing up liquids - used 2 x £1 coupons
    6. Bought 3 x twekkelo yoghurts - used 3 x 40p coupons (has anyone else tried these? They are lush, highly recommend!)
    7. Bought 2 x quantumatic starter kits - used 2 x £5 coupons
    8. Bought 1 x velvet facial tissues - used 50p coupon
The SA actually congratulated me on all of the coupons :T and said it was well worth 'couponing'.

I have a great stash of stuff up in the loft room from the DTD days and am very much of the mind set of 'buy it when it's on offer (research all the stores) and try to use coupons at the same time'. I have converted one of my friends to couponing and we spend half our time at work discussing our latest finds and purchases :o

I don't think I could bear to do a 'normal' shop ever again :rotfl:

Thrifty was it the £1 off Always voucher that came with the Boots Parenting Club mag through the post?

Cheers pixie, I'm pretty sure it was a printable moc, but I have that many mocs then blur into one sometimes!
Have been searching the web and not found it yet, but when I do get it I will of course be making a wreath with flowers made from panty liners....

"Now the fun part – making your own panty liner flowers! I have to say that this is ridiculously easy! The Always Panty Liners are perfect for this. Here’s why: -The entire back of it is sticky, which makes it easy later on the secure the “petals”.
-They are not scented – I think it would creep me out a little if I used scented liners."

    My mind is boggling :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Evening all!

Had another great shop at Tesco today - I wanted to take advantage of the glitch on the small bottles of wine (which I think finishes tomorrow) so I bought 24 bottles (12 red and 12 white - someone had already cleared all the rose off the shelves!) and the total before discounts was £54.96, then the Buy 4 for £5 discount of £24.96 and the 25% discount of £13.74 meant that I ended up paying only £16.26 for 24 bottles!! Works out at 68p per bottle (rounded up). Very tempted to go back again tomorrow to a different Tesco and get some more!

I also did a bit of general shopping as well and used the NOTW £5 coupon and a £5 Sainsbury till spit as well as some odds and ends of £1 and 50p coupons - my total spend before discounts/coupons etc was £124.20 and the final amount to pay after all deductions was £64.78!!!

I still have another NOTW £5 coupon to use - roll on tomorrow!!

I would love to get it for "you know who" but I am sick of looking at Quan in my house:D I don't even own a dish washer:rotfl:
