  • Newbie alert again, sorry but what is a till spit? :)

    welcome emmajane and emmalou!

A tillspit is an extra bit of paper from the till after your receipt, giving a conditional spend or even extra points.

(And don't forget to pop onto the first page & thank Idlesaver if you've not already done so ;):D)

Is it right that T's don't take Asda APG vouchers? CS told me they used to take them when DTD was on, but now it's TD and their own Price Guarantee is so good (?) they no longer take them...didn't just argue used it Asda...

I'm thinking that's another made up story as T's took apg ages before there dtd came out............

would like to say thanks for all the posts im working my way reading all of them and hopefully pick up on uk coupon rules and regulations, a lot different then usa but not as much as i would of imagined!

im all up for a freebie or a cheapie and now i have a 2 years old son, need the help as much as i can! with my family of 3.

just a few q's.... is there a thread about how the whole comparison reciept thing works with asda and tesco? i get the whole wombling thing but what happens after i get em?! lol

The Colgate coupon was a PDF; and although fairly new to this board; the general rule seems to be that PDFs are ok to print however many times you want.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems to be what I'm reading.

It does say one per purchase on it; which I guess is debatable depending on where you go. I had trouble in my local Sainsburys using more than one Fairy voucher the other day that also said one per purchase. The till wouldn't allow the use of more than one coupon though. Worth a go though.

i had two colgate coupons with me today and got the 3 for 2 offer with no problems, not sure if the head and shoulders coupon will work on anything apart from the one its for , i tried today on the conditioner they have for 59p and it wouldnt work but you do get the 3 for 2 on the 59p one

Bully did you get a petrol voucher? I am going on a long trip this aft and if there is a petrol voucher I will make a detour via Tesco first, otherwise will fill up somewhere else. Thanks for the previous answer but I need to know if any have been issued today as it may have been the last day yesterday.
Got a fuel voucher Blue...that's what I wanted , have been running on fumes....not filled up though as think it might be coming down...the diesel is £1.37.9 at T's , but 2p cheaper 100 yards away,Sainsburys and 2p cheaper at Asda about 2 miles away, and 2p cheaper at Morrisons about 2 miles away...so recon T's will prob match them as surely they want to sell fuel to peeps that don't want to spend £50....
