After yesterday's fiasco in T's when they refused to accept my £5 NOTW voucher, today turned out much better. Used coupons for Quantamatic and managed to get 2 for £10 of the refills, then used the £3 dettol coupons for the dettol refill (Tesco's £2.96) so got 4p back on each one!! then got two boxes of Green & Blacks reduced to £1 each from £5.49, the goregeous set of mini bars. So all in all a good shop. Thanks to everyone who suggested using the coupons on refill packs, was a bit wary but was fine, actually left the shop assistant instructions on how to get the coupons as she was amazed at how little my shopping came to:T and then went wombling on the way back to the car, discreetly picking up receipts while saying loudly "Whoops I think I,ve dropped something" to my OH as I picked them up!!lol

Oh yum yum, Green and Blacks for £1, I just love these. Hope they have some in my local Tesco tomorrow. Were they with the chocolate as normal?

    Evening all!

Had another great shop at Tesco today - I wanted to take advantage of the glitch on the small bottles of wine (which I think finishes tomorrow) so I bought 24 bottles (12 red and 12 white - someone had already cleared all the rose off the shelves!) and the total before discounts was £54.96, then the Buy 4 for £5 discount of £24.96 and the 25% discount of £13.74 meant that I ended up paying only £16.26 for 24 bottles!! Works out at 68p per bottle (rounded up). Very tempted to go back again tomorrow to a different Tesco and get some more!

I also did a bit of general shopping as well and used the NOTW £5 coupon and a £5 Sainsbury till spit as well as some odds and ends of £1 and 50p coupons - my total spend before discounts/coupons etc was £124.20 and the final amount to pay after all deductions was £64.78!!!

I still have another NOTW £5 coupon to use - roll on tomorrow!!
please can you tell me what wines these were:j

No, they were on the shelf where they put all the reduced stuff. Their were stacks of them and now I wished I'd bought more! The date on them was 05/11 but I can verify they taste fine:rotfl:

I'm sure someone mentioned that they were £5 in superdrug, so £2 with the moc, am going to look tomorrow. If not as I have the refills I'm going to just pour them into my normal handwash bottles, it must be good stuff as it's so expensive, lol

Todays shop wasn't too bad at all.

    Initial Cost: £27.23

    2 x Huggies Newborn @ £2.47 each - £2 voucher on each
    2 x Innocent Juices @ 2 for £3 - £1 voucher on each
    2 x Pampers Baby Dry @ £4.86 each - £2.50 voucher on each
    3 x Huggies Pure Wipes @ £1.47 each - 2 x £1 vouchers and a 50p voucher
    2 x Go Ahead Yoghurt Breaks @ 2 for £3 - 30p voucher on each

Plus I managed to get another sneaky Huggies Newborn voucher through for £1.50 that I didn't realise was in there (edit - when i gave them the pile that is); and a £2 wombled Sainsbury's till spit off £20.

    Total to Pay: £6.87

Would have been less but I lost the receipt to my last RTD voucher so couldn't use that as well. Never mind.

They are £4.99 on the Superdrug website for the dettol hand wash system but not sure if it is the same price instore. Did try to ring the late opening store to ask but they were out of stock. Am going to ring again tomorrow.

They are £4.99 in Savers if you have one nearby.
