Just went to Asda and used four coupons. So embarassing, the cashier checked each one, had to ask a supervisor and they in turn had to call someone. I was absolutely mortified. Only the third or fourth time I have been in that store ever......I guess this could only be down to peeps abusing the system.....I wouldn't mind but they were coupons from the Asda site - Finish, Robinsons and Huggies and the lactofree.....:(This is a system account and does not represent a real person. The huggies newborn nappies are on offer in Tesco £2.47, so 47p if you use the £2 coupon from the huggies boxes or 23p if you buy in Asda as you will get the Tesco price less 10% if you make sure all your items are compared with Tesco.

Did the cashier have to call the supervisor over because the till wouldn't let them through or was it just something they do now in your Asda? It used to be 6 coupons before an overide/supervisor was needed in Asda.Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

In my local Asda they are doing caramel cream eggs 3 pack for 25p and normal cream eggs 80p for a 6 pack (SEL still says 1.40 on them though).

I'm sorry you felt mortified rachel...try not to be...you are entitled to use the coupons...and yes, probably they are checking more carefully as a result of abuse (the P word)...but it's their job and that's ok...
when that happens to me, I smile, say not a problem and wait as necessary. Don't worry about the people behind...easier said than done perhaps, but fake the confidence even if you don't feel it.0 -
Mega Trout Again - Same Asda
Hi - I started using my local Asda again after shopping a t's 4 a while. Last week i got trouted on 15 quantamatics with a made up rule of 3 only. H/O sent me a £5 gift card and said no way that should happened.
The other day the c/o was trying read the small pack size on the huggies coupon for the starter kit until i told her it said any pack huggies on the top.
Today, i picked up 2 starter kits, the women just putting one on one shelf, looked startled when she saw me. I think here they saw me coming and set me up as there was not many starter kits left in store iuswim. I turned went down next isle as i knew women was there, saw the 3 trouts in a head scrum discussing someting, next one was at the c/s. I was expecting this as another yunger trout was there the other day too, after my purchase that was. Anyhow, comes to pay, manager on me shouylder like a budgie. Cant buy them with that buisness. I explained that says off any huggies newborn, he said says in t&c nappies, i say nappies in the kit, he says kit, i say pack is a kit. He says no anyway as they reported to h/o and they said no. They did as saw the photo-copy of email with vocher scanned in. However, i had endure 3 people swamped around me nattering on about no no no stuff, as i was leaving 7 trouts including security trout was at the c/s desk in a scrum down again.
Honestly my Asda never used be like this, its like the WILD WEST, manager must begarbage i think and i believe i'm being singled out. Well what can u do? Exactly!!!!! Big Bad complaint off to h/o about this rough justice and discrimination. Also off we go with a letter to huggies for clarification of the issue.
