Tikka Masala 3 for £4 at Asda (£1.35 each ) or £1.10 each at Tesco - so 3 for £3.30. If bought from Asda as part of a shop using their 10% cheaper guarantee ,the 3 vouchers are worth £4.65 so 65p towards your shopping then a voucher from Asda for £1.03 (£4 less £2.97 (£3.30 less 10%)) - Just make sure you buy the 8 minimum qualifying items which are cheaper or the same price at Tesco0

Hi, I was watching this show 'Extreme Couponing' from America where people were buying thousands of dollars worth of groceries and paying under 20 dollars in the end. Yes they were obsessed with couponing but was just wondering if that would be possible here? It is a pretty ingenious idea but is it possible to use so many coupons in one transaction or are the UK grocery store policies different?0

In the US they are given a lot more vouchers than we are in the UK! they get them at restaurants, in newspapers, etc. And they are welcomed there.
Twice I have met American people working in this country, the first did not bat an eyelid when I produced my voucher, just said, let's see how much this takes off your bill, the second in an admiring voice, said that is an awful lot of coupons you have there. I don't think they are used to seeing British with coupons :rotfl:
I think pre black Friday when Tesco accepted vouchers as long as they were selling the product, it may have been possible to virtually get a bag or 2 of items for very little, no so much now.
Saying that, was it on this thread or one of the others? Someone paid about 20p for 2 bags of food stuff after vouchers!0 -

And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final coupon.
My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state this promo got poop on.
I've DTD'd a life that's full -
I've travelled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I DTD'd it my way.
Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, too few trouts to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw shops through without exemption.
I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I DTD'd it my way.
Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and till spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
And DTD'd it my way.
I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill of magnums, beef, enigmas - my share of lamb.
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no, not me.
I DTD'd it my way.
For what is a man? What has he got?
If not his Spreadsheet - Then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took Tesco for the cheats they are
And DTD'd it my way.
Yes, I DTD'd it my way.
