Popped into Asda yesterday for a few bits. Went to the basket only SA. Had a little chat with her then gave her an APG and several MOC's. Was just about to pay with my credit card when realised total was only 97p. Rummaged in my purse but DD1 had left me nothing but pennies. Then remembered I had some £1 coins in a little bag that someone had given me, so started rummaging in the depths of my handbag. The young chappie behind me was in such a hurry he offered the SA a £1 to pay for my shopping! However I had just found my stash of coins so paid myself, only to find that the SA had given me an old halfpenny in my change instead of a 2p. And she couldn't open the till! By now the young man was nearly having apoplexy. He asked me what was wrong now, shoved 10p in my hand and sent me on my way! Can I add 8p to my roadkill total? :rotfl:

MAG - I know a little windy corner in my ASDA carpark too and you can often find me lurking there. Got £3.80 off one the other day  Love the "tumbleweeds across the tarmac" phrase! :)

Thanks to sirbrainy on DTD thread:

And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final coupon.
    My friends, I'll say it clear;
I'll state this promo got poop on.

    I've DTD'd a life that's full -
I've travelled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
    I DTD'd it my way.

    Regrets? I've had a few,
But then again, too few trouts to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw shops through without exemption.

I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
    I DTD'd it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and till spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
    And DTD'd it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried,
I've had my fill of magnums, beef, enigmas - my share of lamb.
    But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
Oh no. Oh no, not me.
    I DTD'd it my way.

For what is a man? What has he got?
If not his Spreadsheet - Then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took Tesco for the cheats they are
    And DTD'd it my way.

Yes, I DTD'd it my way.

completely upto you - you could donate them to your local women's refuge, sure start centre, give them away on freecycle, or if you belong to netmums.com, sell them for free on their selling board.

Thanks, you've given me an idea, I wonder if my health nurse will take them as my youngest has his MMR soon so we have an appointment booked. The wipes in the box will come in so useful, brilliant offer :D

We're off to Asda later for the first time in ages....thanks to the post about the finish £2 coupon ending today. I would've missed that otherwise.

Very stressed this morning peeps...downloaded firefox 4...what an error...taken me ages to try and get the old version back...new one doesn't support Roboform , could only access it from bottom taskbar...what a blooming pain, all my passcards and passwords are on Roboform( have them with 2 identities for comps)...so deleted Firefox and then realised I had no internet , browser....good job I still had IE lurking..opened that and then eventually found old version of Firefox...back to normal now...I think....
Up to 4 pages on new thread already....blimey.!!! I spent a few hours trying to find new mocs yesterday, but no luck...tried usual favourites to no avail...must try harder....
Oooops...where's my manners....Morning all, lovely day here today, wind subsided now, nearly blew me over yesterday....
