    Hi PM
My son does my wombling and he is not bothered. On the odd occasion I have done it I just pretend its mine, just tut a bit and pick it up. No one even looks.

DS picked a load up for me yesterday and they came to over £20, well worth any embarassment I think, though it was a bit funny when he stopped the car to pick up a receipt that blew past us.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DS says whatever you do, don't look around to see if anyone is looking, thats a sure sign your embarassed, just pick it up and move on. He has seen other people wombling too.

    Happy couponing and wombling.

Hi! I'm not a newbie to this site, but I'm new to coupons! Me and my Boyfriend moved in together last year and now we're ontop of money, we're wanting to start cutting back and food shopping is our starting point! Will have to get my head around wombling too, it's an awful lot to take in if I'm honest :D

Just to say I got the new Asda magazine when I went shopping today. There's a 50p off Flora Cuisine(E:30/5) 50p off Velvet Tissues(E:31/5) and 50p off Good Earth Tea (E:30/6) checking prices it doesn't make any of them a really impressive buy, but I guess there's a month or two for them to maybe put them on rollback? Already have a stash of velvet tissues though after my Grandma got a bit happy on them when they had the 50p off coupon on the lid, and were selling for 98p in Wilkinson's a few months back.

Hope everyone's enjoying the sun too!

Thanks have now managed to print my Sharwoods coupons, though the bardodes look strange, last 6 digits are 4542 01 and 1139 08.
    Used code 1118 and Korma.:D

Sounds like you are quoting the 'Unique Pin' in the top right hand corner rather than the '99' barcode in the bottom left? - That should end ..1550 (Although the last digit may vary) If so don't worry as it will scan at£1.55
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

After quickly becoming addicted to Extreme Couponing on telly I have finally managed to come across this excellent site! I am new here and to be honest struggling a bit to understand how to use it to my best advantage - any tips? I would be most grateful :)

Best to start on page 1 and either print or send for any useful coupons. Then you will come to the info and advice section which should answer lots of your questions.

I have only been couponning for 2 years but now I couldn't manage without it, all the peeps (the people on this thread) are helpful and will answer questions.

The only thing we are "funny" about is making sure people find there thanks button, we do expect everyone to thank Idlesaver for being in charge of the thread, doing all the updating etc, and yes, its friendly to thank people for their advice or support or even information or just to show you have enjoyed the chat. We do try and keep everything friendly, so all newbies are welcome to join in.

If you have a question, just ask, and some kind peep will try and help.

Just been to Asda and have to say the staff attitude there is amazing compared to Tesco. I used the s/s till and the young lad had to help authorise the coupons - you weren't allowed to use more than one £5 quantumatic in a transaction but he overrode that, then I used £2 off the 20 Finish tabs, the the £5 starter kit voucher bought me the starter kit and two packs of wipes (2 for £2). So he let me put them all through then wished me a good day :D:D:D

No £1 Fairy left in my store though I did get two sponge bob mug/easter eggs reduced to £1 each :p

Oh and in my starter kit there were different vouchers a £2 little swimmers and a £2 nappy voucher. No wipes one unfortunately as that would have been useful, but can't complain.

With regards to the Huggies baby starter boxes there are two types around. The older ones have 2 x £2 vouchers on the box with barcodes and the newer version that looks exactly the same have 2 x £2 vouchers and 1 x £1 voucher but with no barcodes. I have used both and while its tempting to go for the box with £5 worth on i ve decided id rather have the £4 ones with the barcodes, so much easier to use and less obvious at checkouts especially if you were n t using it off more Huggies. It says on the boxes £5 refering to coupons but in the £4 ones it just says £££ s lol, saves actually looking in the box. My daughters having a baby boy end of July so she s well stocked up thanks to me. She s rather embarrassed at doing such a thing, but im not :D
