    Blimey! I don't think I know 120 people - sounds like you had a fun day :D

Does anyone have any clever ideas for feet - the soles of my feet are beyond sore, everytime I go anywhere all my shoes give me massive blisters on my feet, I imagine because the ones I wear are from the likes of New Look or Primark which pretty much have no padding inside but needless to say my soles are blistered and so hard :(

Have you tried those gel inserts? You can get them in Home Bargains, Savers and £land - you can get them just for the heel area or just for the ball of your foot. I think they're called 'Party Feet' or something? I know the sort of shoe you mean - I can't wear them at all :( have you tried just putting an ordinary insole in? Might make all the difference?

I moisturise my feet every night and about once or twice a week I do a 'treatment' ( which is really just extra moisturiser and stick a pair of socks on :p). It does help :D

It's not that there are any more @r$eholes on the internet than in real life, it's just that those w a n k e r s are so much braver when hiding behind a keyboard and screen.

I'm constantly shocked by the viciousness and brutality of the way some posters behave towards others on here, especially towards newbies.

I agree - most of the people wouldn't be half as nasty if it was all done face-to-face :(

The amount of people who see a thread by a newbie and automatically think 'troll' is astounding! We all had to start somewhere and I think so many people must be frightened off by the nasty responses they get sometimes :(

One UU: James Brown Dry Hair Shampoo: WIBA? Nah! Batiste is better - cheaper and smells nicer :D

I prefer to avoid the boards where people are mean most of the time. I like this section :)
Oh and I know it's a moneysaving site but I have to avoid some of the intensely moneygrabbing bits sometimes for my sanity! A couple of charity freebies come to mind... there was a NSPCC skipping rope set for sponsored events people were just having as a freebie and blood sugar monitors a diabetes charity gave away ended up being claimed & sold on ebay by many people on here :( I even think its a bit mean when people hog all the great offers & sell them on for profit... maybe I don't belong :o

Just rescued £25 in bank charges... My cheque bounced and I was so scared of ringing them but I did and just said 'I'd like the fee removed' and they said yes! Being on hold ages cost me £5 in phone credit though.
    Tempted to spend the £20!

    Happy Birthday Lemon Tree.
    No Ins outs or UU's.
Charlie, your feet! You can put moisturiser on them until you're blue in the face but if your wearing carp shoes, you'll have bad feet. The flat flat shoes are terrible awful shoes and whoever designed them should be beaten to death with a pair (IMHO!). When you buy shoes, you need to have a 1-2 cm heel. There needs to be enough of a soul to protect your foot and your heel should be higher than your toes. If not, you're leaning back somewhat. Your foot spills out over the side as it is rolling out to try and get some support. This in turn puts added pressure on your knees, hips and back.
Now the shoes which are good for you will be different than those that are good for others. I can't wear birkenstocks because my foot is too slim and they hurt the soles of my feet. I have a pair of clarks sandals at the moment.
If you want sandals, you should buy a sandal which you don't need to hold on with your toes because you will claw your toes over time. A flip flop type birkie works, the toe thong one. It has the leather bit so far up your foot that it holds on better. The other type which are good for holding onto your foot is http://www.endless.com/dp/B000I6561Y/180-2074707-5927025?ie=UTF8&suppressRedirect=1&linkCode=asn&!!!!!endlesscj-20&creativeASIN=B000I6561Y this one. Mine are that style but Clarks. For normal shoes, you should have lace ups or something which covers your whole foot so that it's not slopping around in your shoe. Again you need that rise from toe to heel. Leather are good to wear because they are breathable. You chould not wear the same shoes day in day out because the bacteria can't dry out so they'll start to smell.
Crocs! Gah! Mutter mutter. Look up Plantar Fasciitis.
It is worth buying good shoes and a good bed because if you're not in one, you're in the other!
