@ juliebunny, we ate at Loch Fyne when we last went to Bath. It was lovely. There is a Jamies Italian there too. Previously when we've been we've gone into a little pub near the sausage shop (I think) and had proper fill your boots home cooked grub. That was years ago though, pre DD who's nearly 10! I don't know why we stopped going to Bath, I love it there, and Bristol Broadmead but we always get sucked into going to the Mall at Cribbs Causeway (which I hate with a passion!).
@Rosemary, Loch Fyne had a little flyer in there saying about their rooms which were £84 per night B&B. Right in the centre of Bath and very lovely. My friend goes regularly and stays in the travelodge there for the £9 rooms. She enjoys it very much and the travellodge are so central.
@ Mingle. I found that when I had body lotion to UU, I would go for days without moisturising because I get it everywhere and it runs all over the place and it's cold and, and, basically, I don't like it. I now use Body Butter (souffle at the moment) daily and I love it. I feel far more pampered with BB than lotion. I know we have had the discussion before about summer or winter use but I am an all year round BB kind of chick.
Oh and no INs, or OUTs or UU's.
Ooh, last night I went to use the cocoa butter shower gel on DS and DH had left the lid open. It was like custard that had skinned over on top. Very very strange. I have never seen that happen.

Can I ask how often you use body butters? I use mine every day, but I don't find it greasy or clogging.

Not that often because I normally shower before uni with limited time and body butter makes it harder to get my jeans on :o
So probably only once, maybe twice a week and that's if I make an effort. I have at least 3 open at the mo I think, Kept wanting to try a new flavour!

UU No7 P & P hand cream - WNBA as I dont think its that special and its quite greasy. This was my work one so now got a tube of L'Occitane Shea butter hand cream on my desk (looks posh! LOL)

Throwaway - Dregs of No 7 sunkissed tanning lotion - WNBA It smelled really biscuity! Much prefer Dove tanning stuff. I really tried to use it up but just couldnt handle the whiff of Digestives or whatever it was!

My second BS order has come today so I have taken delivery of more showergel and the spa stuff and body butter and lotion. I think I am going to see if I can put any of these in the gifts box.

No, but it's a great idea: MSE 'L' plates! :D

Where is it from, and when did it come into being? Me likes...

It just appeared over the last couple of days on any newbie threads - how long until some 'wag' uses it as their avatar or photoshops it into something funny :p

I use BB after every bath - which is more or less every day - and I use Body Lotion before I get dressed in the morning :D

No UU's or IN's so far today - I'm hoping my shampoo will go tonight or tomorrow though - hate it :(

This was OH SO NEARLY a "forgive me ladies for I have sinned" post......but instead, it's a "Had a NPI and emerged unscathed!" one!

Had a wander about in town - popped into Boots but as usual there was no useful vouchers for anything free for me from the ACM! Looked again at the Miss Sporty NV I love the colour of - the fab turquoisey blue one I saw before and liked? No special offers on though so that helped me leave empty handed....then wandered into Superdrug to price-compare NV remover which I do need to get soon...and they have Miss Sporty NV's on 2 for £1.99 - so essentially BOGOF! I honestly thought I was going to cave in.....so I started looking for a second one, and then realised that a) there weren't any other colours I was that bothered about, and b) "There will be another offer along in a minute" popped into my head! I popped the Blue one back, and left.:A

I really like the newbie sticker too. What a great idea. I hope people take notice as I have seen some "curt" replies to newbie posts that have been on the wrong board - particularly the Grabit.
However I do feel a tinge of "what a shame" that MSE feels that they need a sticker to remind people to be nice. We are all here for the same reason.

One female from last month posted that she had been reduced to tears with some of the responses form people about a glitch on amazon when downloading albums. She didn't provide enough details on specific CD's and some regulars were horrid to her. The glitch, which turned out applied to all CD's, was right enough and few Grabit Queens like Claire21 posted examples to support the newbie.

Anyhow... A spa break sounds lovely Juliebunny - I am sure you will have a fab time.

One UU today - my listerine mouthwash. I have already replaced it with a another from the stash.

    Another £2 in my pot.

£1.19! - that was a great price - this is def an HG product for me.

I was finding that too, I first tried standing on a towel but still managed to get some on the tiles around the towel so now I just spray it into my hand and rub on.:D S & G products are ok but I find the scent a little too sweet for me. I wouldn't rush to buy any of them - any I have have been gifts.

I have this as well and I love the smell of it (didn't at first though - it is a very strange smell - sort of chocolatey mixed with tobacco!). My problem with it is its too much hassle too use, I hate getting my hands all greasy applying it.
That's exactly it! I don't mind the smell of either chocolate or tobacco alone but the mix just didn't agree with me.

Thanks ladies! I was worrying about being wasteful you see. I'm so glad i'm not the only one who uses it every day.

I find it really funny that some of you say that BB is a winter item- I use it all year round, particularly because I like the fruity smells and I think they're better for summer.

    Hello!!

Just popped in to gloat that I'm going to BATH SPA at the end of this week, can't wait!! We will probably take the 2 hour package unless anyone else has recommendations - not sure what the restaurant would be like?

Can anyone recommend any nice restaurants there? I'm a veggie but we normally end up at a chain because we are so un-adventurous or have a voucher.

Boyf called me today to tell me he had UU a shower gel at the gym this morning, how cute!! Bless him. He does love his products too. I made him promise not to buy any more as we have so much already!

I like the newbie sticker - I read the notes when you click on it - it basically says don't be mean to them! I want one so people can't be mean to me!

My horrid Dove Handcream is finally spluttering, been using up my arms too. Suppose I'll feel obliged to cut it up and use to the bitter end. Taking some treats to Bath though! :j:j:j

Lucky you! I live in Bath and still haven''t been to the spa!! I've heard great things about it though!

As for veggie friendly resturants (I'm veggie too) there's Demuths which i completely veggie

    http://www.demuths.co.uk/about/introduction/

The Porter Cellar bar at the top of Milsom street

    http://www.theporter.co.uk/food.ihtml

I can definitely vouch for Jamie's Italian - it's yum! Also there's a new Yo Sushi! place not long opened (haven't made it there yet!) and all the usual chains like Pizza Express, Zizzi etc

Anything else you want to know just let me know!

Went to my friend's funeral today... it was beautiful and her sons did her proud. She came down the street where I work first and we threw flowers onto the hearse then she was transferred to an amazing four horse drawn carridge to take her upto the crematorium. The flowers I ordered were beautiful so I must pop into the florist to say thank you. It really has been a bittersweet day and I'll never forget her or the day :)
