a few naughty ins for me i'm afraid:o:
avon solutions vitamin mask-I don't have any masks, and my skin is looking awful at the moment as I've been so stressed lately, so looking forward to using this thurs night (4 day weekend:jbut I have to revise:()
planet spa shea butter face mask- I can't justify this:o
perfect wear eyeshadow- I have about 2 eyeshadows and they are GWP so I just needed a neutral and this is really easy to use:T
but then I also bought
tigers eye eyeshadow quad- because it was only £1.25. comes with a really big mirror inside as well:eek:
and some aloe shampoo but I don't stash this so it really was necessary:D
also had a chance to try the naked cocoa butter lotion that I bought last week, and it isn't very good:( I'm not keen on the smell and it feels sticky and takes a while to sink in. That'll teach me to buy 2 without trying them first:rotfl:Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -

I haven't joined in with this thread this month had a bit of a computer break for a few weeks.
However I'm still very much in my using up mode and haven't had any more ins since my shampoo and conditioner which I'm already using.
I have had a couple of UUs, a mini calm one calm all bubble bath from S&G - WIBA? Yes I like this as a 'bog standard' bubble bath, good bubbles and slightly moisturising. I've only got 1 mini left and once that and my MB has gone (see below) I think I'll get a big bottle of this when S&G is on offer. I only bath once a week, showers the rest of the time, so takes a while to get through though.
S&G scrub your nose in it mini - WIBA? No - I didn't like this really, and ebayed the big one I got in my Christmas tote bag. Didn't do a lot for me and didn't really like the smell.
Sanctuary charcoal warming face mask - WIBA? Yes I really like this as a heating face mask, I try and alternate a moisturising and a heating facemask, one a week.
The problem is I have a new tube of this I got some time last year with a boots voucher I think and I tried to use it on Sunday and it was much harder to get out the tube, different packaging so might be slightly different formula but disappointed. Think it might be a cut the end off, scoop out and then put in a box in between uses. I shouldn't have bought it as I had several facemasks on the go, but only have this and a sanctuary moisturising one now. I've learnt my lesson.
My stash is worringly low now. When I wanted a bath on Sunday I realised I'd finished the S&G as above, and only had 1 mini left and 4 small Molton Brown bottles left from the gift set my brother got me for Christmas and that was all my bubble bath/bathing things. I used to have 5 or 6 lush things in the bathroom cabinet, several bottles on the go and more stored up - bit of a shock. Should take me a couple of months to get through the MB and S&G and then I'll actually have to buy some!
Need to continue using things and working out what I like and don't like and create my holy grail list - and find something to go in the 2 S&G hat boxes I'd got my stash into at the start of the year (used to be in a lot more than that!)Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

TheVictster - thanks for your BATH hints, will have a good look at these later....do you know that residents get a discount too? I would be there all the time.....assuming it was a good discount.
So sorry about your friend, I really feel for you. I am only early 40's and already feel like I've been to too many funerals. It makes you examine your own mortality and realise that you have to take life in both hands.....
Right, back OT - can a bar of soap splutter? If so, my coconut BS one is spluttering - do people use bars of soap to the bitter end?
My half a litre of Baylis and Harding black pepper and ginseng hand lotion on my desk finally seems to be going down...sigh...
Off to pack tonight :j - someone mentioned Travelodge - we will stay there but prefer the Waterside one because it has parking and is a bit out of town but you can cut through in ten minutes via the train station :j and the manager has promised me a nice room because last time we went our room was awful and the bathroom dirty (got a 50% refund.) No £9 rooms there but still half the price of everywhere else. Hope it doesn't rain....:(Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

That certainly wasn't on this thread though, right!!
Unfortunately the internet reflects the good, the bad, the ugly and the extremely well groomed, just like the real world....I think people get the wrong tone in emails because you can't see their face or hear the intonation in their voice (gosh I'm posh!) so things sometimes come across badly. That's why we love the smiliescos they add the fact that we are just being nice or joking!!:)

I have 1 big S&G shower gel (pump bottle) and a couple of minis of this, 1 at least is part full as I take it away with me but that's it (take ages to get through the S&G pump bottles).
I think I've got:
1 Flake away and 1 Righteous butter big pots and a couple of minis of each in my stash,
the shower gel,
1 mini S&G bubble bath,
3 bottles of MB bath stuff,
1 bottle of MB body lotion,
a couple of tubes of hand food and heal genius
and that's all the unopened bath and cosmetics I have, give or take a couple of things.:eek:
Then about 15 things opened that I use regularaly, half of which I don't have a replacement for in my stash, so when they run out I need to buy more. I do have about £40 of boots points though so will probably use these to start off with.
I can't believe how much I had at one point, much less than some on here but still a stupid amount.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Oh no, certainly not on here! You're all lovely on this threadIt was something to do with my fiance's rent problems but I got all the abuse and they kept saying I was breaking the law when I stayed over at his at weekends though he claims to live alone. Surely if I was living with him I'd be there every day of the week?
Sorry for going off topic... back on though, I used the BS Raspberry body butter on my mum's feet last night coz I'm nice like thatSavings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -
Afternoon ladies.....
Well my shampoo came this morning - came with the early morning delivery that woke both me and OH up, he wasn't too impressed. Didn't get a free gift with itbut I needed the shampoo anyway
Have almost finished packing my suitcase haha its not like me to be so organised - think Ive got a little OTT on it though, OH joked that Id take about 15 pairs of knickers (as I would take 2 per a day and some spare) I was somewhat embarrassed as that actually was what I was going to do - he knows me too wellI always pack more than double what I really need. So far have 9 tops and 4 dresses in the case too but Im of the opinion I have 20kg of luggage to use so I might as well use it
Toiletries are all packed in the case now too, taking all the miniatures with the exception of some special body lotion I have for my heat rash...
Dinner was so yummy last night - took the plunge and made sweede (or turnip) and parsnip mash to do with it - proper healthy meal, should have been 7 of our 5 a day
Does anyone have any clever ideas for feet - the soles of my feet are beyond sore, everytime I go anywhere all my shoes give me massive blisters on my feet, I imagine because the ones I wear are from the likes of New Look or Primark which pretty much have no padding inside but needless to say my soles are blistered and so hardIve been trying to use a pumice stone on them but that hasn't really made any difference and started using my Cowshed body lotion on my feet but again not really helped. Was thinking about the BS hemp foot stuff but at £10 I really can't justify it.....
On the topic of BS though I just got an email from them saying they have an offer on B2G1F or B3G2F - might be a good combo if it works with the 3 free gifts too? - EDIT: Just had a browse and it seems they've stopped the 3 free gifts, now its just one when you spend £28MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

 I'm so sorry honey. It's not that there are any more @r$eholes on the internet than in real life, it's just that those w a n k e r s are so much braver when hiding behind a keyboard and screen.
I'm constantly shocked by the viciousness and brutality of the way some posters behave towards others on here, especially towards newbies.
I can't decide if they're just insecure bullying !!!!!! in every area of their lives, or if they are timid little yes-men in real life who use MSE to take out their frustrations on others without any comeback.
I think this is based on my experience at the Women's Refuge because I think men who beat up their wives and / or children fall broadly into those two camps.I have an IN to report. I picked up some cheap foot cream / heel balm in Savers because it was £2.75 and my usual is about £10 for a smaller amount. I've never used Compeed before but I thought it was worth a go.
I hope you're all having a splendid day. :heartpulsNot everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

Compeed is supposed to be really good, i've had some of their stuff for blisters and rubbing when i've been walking/running...
Rosemary - Did you give BS a call about your missing free gift?
Vicster - Sounds like a wonderful send off for a wonderful friend.
I'm grateful the BS glitch has finished now, my willpower was rubbish whilst it was on, and I now have a bigger stash than ever :embarasse:embarasse
on the up side, i'm now back at the gym and running, which means more showers and baths, so need to get into the habit of putting my shower gels/shampoo etc into my travel sized bottles....
The ghost body lotion still hasn't spluttered to a standstill :rotfl: although i'm sure it will be finished tonight....
Should have more UU after my pamper & pmn session tonight, so i'll update later and put money in my pot....Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:
