I just know someone on here will have the answer to this question.
Is it more economical to use an electric kettle or a stove-top kettle on a gas hob?

Well, gas is cheaper than electricity so instinct would tell me that a stove-top could cost less but I think it all depends on the efficiency. With a gas stove-top kettle not all of the heat generated would transfer directly to the kettle where in an electric one it would. I would have thought that the difference for a single kettle-full of water would be negligable.0

Hi
A induction hob boils quicker than gas hob and electric kettle but it's probably only a few pence difference.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0
