well its thurs & they havent come....yet.

there really should be some way of tracking your order online which shows what process its going through, instead of just waiting and waiting to receive them.

will update and leave feedback if and when they arrive.

thought id give them another ring. they said they were dispatched on the day i phoned (5th may), although i didnt receive a dispatched email?

anyway, i asked for the tracking number and checked on royal mail website which says: Item **********GB arrived at Birmingham Mail Centre on the 2011-05-11 and we are currently processing it.

hopefully it will come tomorrow.

to those that are waiting and havent heard anything, i suggest giving them a ring and ask for the tracking number if theyve been dispatched. call solecreator on 01213 590222 with your order number. hth?

me again....

they came today. i expected them to come in a box, so when i got the parcel i didnt think it was them.

i have uploaded some pics of the dinosaur plimsoles my 4yr old designed, so you can have a look at the finished product.

overall, i am happy with them, but the left inside hasnt been printed very well in my opinion. also i HATE that the tongue has a big SC & a pic of a shoe with solecreator.com underneath.

when i ordered them it didnt state anywhere that they would print SC on there. i would have paid a bit extra not to have that on there.

also, their website says you will get a dispatch email, which i didnt receive.

i wouldnt be happy at the huge logo on the tongue either

when you design your own from converse,
you get converse, designed to your specs, they are the same as off the shelf, except your design/colour/writing on them

Mine arrived today-no dispatch email either. Hate the big SC on them but not too bad for the rest. Husband happy with them but I would have paid more for something a bit classier iyswim? Don't think I'll be using them again.

i would definitely ask if you could take their logo away!! i dont know why they didnt state that on their website.

would also love to see yours mrsmalthouse, did you go for the same shoe?

Edited to say, for £20 they are ok, it would have been better without the logo, but my 4 yr old is pleased with them so im not too bothered, but saying that, if id ordered them for myself i wouldnt have wanted the logo & would have complained!!

I think it's bad that it is not clearly mentioned that they have the logo on them. I knew they would because I have been doing a bit of research and found some photos that show the trainers with the logo on. Also the lack of dispatch email is a bit of an oversight.

I'm still considering placing an order because I want a pair of personalised trainers (I'd be ordering the dunlop trainers rather than plimsolls) so I'd appreciate anyone else that has photos to share.

For those that are interested in personalised trainers, another option I have been considering is: http://www.sneakart.com/bin/WebObjects/SneakArt - You design a transfer which you then place on the trainers yourself. The benefit of this is that you don't have the SC logo to worry about and you can buy a pair or trainers first (therefore ensure they are a good fit) and then decorate them. You can also place the transfer anywhere on the trainer (on SC you can only put transfer on the sides/insides). The trickier side of doing it this way is the fact you'll have to cut and place the transfer yourself.
