Thanks for the link OP. My daughter and I have been creating designs all evening!
I'm hoping to order some, but I'll wait to hear feedback first I think!

I wanted to order a pair of Vans as I thought this looked like a fun present for my daughter who is due to graduate in July. I couldn't find any clip art on the site featuring a mortar board so I e-mailed customer services and they offered to design something for me. They asked what I wanted on the shoe (her nickname "Bogeyes" - Officially Clever") and what colours she liked and they sent me a suggested design today which I absolutely love.

The service has been fantistic and I think it was really helpful of them to offer to design something for me. I can't wait to see the shoes and I can't wait to see my daughters face when she opens the box - although I'm sure they're not regulation footwear for the graduation ceremony!

    Hope this helps,

    Denise

Thanks for that article Mippy. I must say I thought the website looked quite flash, but I couldn't really imagine what the shoes would look like. Also, how is the image applied? If it is done in the way that transfers are put on t-shirts (ie heat transfer) will it come off if you have to clean them? The shoes in the article don't look too good and I will be interested to see MSE'ers reviews.

Well thanks for the apology but I still have no idea when I'm likely to get my shoes as it's been 11 days now... The confirmation email said between 4 and 7 days. :(

Mrs Malthouse - I'm guessing the recent bank holidays have had an impact on the delivery scale for your order??? But, regardless of that it would have been nice for you to receive a bit of communication to let you know how your order is progressing.

I'm not too worried how long they take to arrive as I'm in no hurry, but I'm still waiting to hear what you think of the quality of your shoes and the print, before I place my order.
