    Hi judojug,

Thanks for the words of advice.

I have felt emotional since I first posted on this site, I think its the realisation that we are in debt and we're going to do something about it!

Hopefully, I should feel relieved after the telephone call with the CCCS on Friday. I have lots of questions to ask them, my head is buzzing at the moment!

I'll keep posting and let you all know how its going!

    xx :grouphug:

CCCS are excellent. You'll feel relieved soon, once the ball gets rolling.

    Hello lovebooks

Thanks for your support. Your right, I will feel better once the ball gets rolling. Once I've had that call on Friday, maybe I'll be able to sleep properly!

Monkeysox, this may sound obvious but when you think of a question write it down so that you have a list of questions ready for your telephone interview. You may well find that some get answered during the course of the interview anyway. Well done for opening the new bank accounts and drawing up a plan for budgeting, that is the way to succeed. Good luck for Friday (not that you need it, you'll be fine). Let us know how you get on.

    Morning Nargleblast,

Thanks for the advice regarding the questions. Maybe if I wrote them down as I think of them, I'll be able to sleep at night.

My mind is so active at night, it seems as if everything is going over and over in my head! Funny how thats never happens in the day!:D

I'll let you all know how we get on on Friday, appointment is at 2.30pm, so I'll be online later on that afternoon.

    Speak soon!

Good luck with it all. If you really are worried about the job situation, the best thing you can do is to check your original employment contract. That should tell you whether there are any sanctions for entering an IVA. No need to bother the HR dept unless the contract says that you shouldn't go bankrupt or present proposals to creditors. If it does, have a meeting with the HR manager and discuss it with them.

    Hi Marklinard,

Thanks for the posting and words of advice.

OH and I are working to a weekly budget, we started it from the 1st May, so we'll see how we go this month!

I've also put a spreadsheet together, I'm entering our weekly expenditure so I can see if we are over or under budget. Fingers crossed!

I hoping to get a bit of practice in before the IVA starts!

    Speak soon!

    xx :j
