If it did arrive it wont be 128gb. More like a poor quality 1 or 2gb.
Was it supposed to be Sandisk.0 -
eeeek  lol I didn't realise it was that old
Thanks for your help cyberbob I will phone paypal tomorow.0 -
Hi Gavjbrown it was described as "128GB USB FLASH™ DRIVE™ USB 2.0 PEN STICK™ MEMORY™"
I kept saying to myself all day it can't be true I sort of knew I was going to get ripped off I mean the seller hardly had any feed back and you know I am usually so carefull I have bought lot's from ebay and been very pleased well up till now.
That will teach me to be more observant lol.0 -
hopefully you will get your money back from paypal.
Just out of interest have you tried opening a claim in paypal and did that still want you to wait 7 days?.
I wondered if the rules may have been different with them getting the listings removed.0 -
I asked Sarah the virtual girl answering machine she said
"To help protect our members, eBay has guidelines and policies for items that cannot be listed on eBay and might expose you to risk.
Items that can be removed include those that are:
- Prohibited by law
- Prohibited by eBay's policies
If you placed a bid on an auction that was removed, the bid will be canceled. If you paid for the item, a refund will be deposited into your PayPal balance or credit card."
I don't know how long it will take but it looks like I will get a refund with out having to make a claim it will just happen automaticly I will give it until next week and if no joy I will phone them.0 -

One was very recently so I don't think it's a new change either, although I hope for you I'm wrong.
Paypal were a lot easier to get money back from when I had to claim once the listing had been removed (most of mine were just little things like the seller had pinched the photo, but I also got caught by the flash drive thing once.)
If it does arrive, and even if it seems to be fine or just smaller than advertised be very careful.
The dodgy ones can be not very reliable at saving things, so you'll effectively lose what you put on it.
I guess there's a risk of viruses as well, possibly.
Of course it could just be something silly that got it pulled, but probably better to be on the safe side really. This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
I was contacted by ebay a couple of weeks ago about 4 listings that had been removed. I didn't get auto refunds either.
I would try opening a dispute in paypal and see what it says. Even if it does arrive it wont be 128gb.0 -
I have opened a dispute with PayPal they have given me a case number they said it may take up to 30 days to be resolved so here's hoping.
Thanks for your replies and sorry I have posted in this thread but I ended up here through a google search and thought the thread was something to do with the same problem I had, I never looked at the date of the thread.0 -
In paypal does it give you the option to escalate the dispute to a claim?. If so that will speed things up.0
-
Yes I escalated the dispute so I will now wait to see what happens.
They said I can view the status in the Resolution Centre any time using the case number they have given me.
I will post here if/when I get my money back0
