Motorola L6 on O2 £49.99 + £75 HMV Voucher

I know that most phones can be unlocked, but I have done a fair bit of searching online (e.g. here gsm-forum.eu) and it appears this phone can only be done through shops. Although there is a website that claims it can do it at < £13.

So as the title says,

Has anyone managed to unlock this phone with success? and how much did they pay?

I would contact them saying that they stole money, and that you are thinking about phoning your local police station up and tell them that they have stole money and you want it dealed with because it could be down to faud.

same thing has happened to me. except they have taken £250 as the stupid girl tried to put my order through 5 times. rang my credit card company they said i have to just wait and see if the amounts appear on my statement. if they do then i have to file a dispute.

o2's response was that they would credit my account within 72 hours.

I hate the way they do that. The girl must have been beeping in her head, the till beeps, she thinks it in her head, did you not go what are you doing then walk off leaving her manager to clear up her mess. Thgats what I would do.

It takes 48hrs for money to come out of our account but it takes another 24 hours for them. how so? trying to make more money hey o2. lol

I had £300 taken by o2 as stated, however it never appeared on my statement just the difference between the current balance and available balance was not correct, when they decline you, they still reserve the money from your account, just do not take it. It appears back the next day, well at least mine did, however it could still leave you with no money if your available balance comes to £0.00 or below. Be warned! It’s not a problem with your credit cards company, its o2's fault, plain and simple. They tried fobbing me off with some crap with it not being there fault and credit card companies fault, oh and then it was the power cut they had Monday at warehouse! Lies they just don't really know why everybody is get declined but funds are being taken, madness!

It's a great deal just a shame it o2 and they don't know what there doing!

Im completley baffled!

I had to try a few times before I managed to get the right combination:

Go into the DHL tracking page, then click on the "By Ident Code" thingy.

The, put in your code on BOTH of the top boxes - FROM and TO.

It should bring up the info then.

At least, mine did.

oh now the one that got through has been delivered, but not too bloody me! just rang DHL they say o2 have stuck wrong address label on the front, o2 says its DHL, ARGHHHHHHH idiots! not happy! Currently on hold on o2!

Ebay seem to have a few cheaper items for this - just type in L6 unlock...
