I would say don't order online. Customer services told me that none of my online orders, five in total, had taken payment so I went back to customer sales and ordered that way. Do they authorise your CC straight away? they just processed all my info and said I would receive an email confirming acceptance within 72 hours... wanted to hear them say yes your card has been authorised as that would have confirmed that the other attempted orders haven't actually taken funds!!!!!0

Think it's worth calling them now?
Can't find anywhere on their page to type in order number and track purchase or anything....0 -
well they led me to believe their system was very sluggish at the moment so not to expect the email that quickly! Probably a case of wait 72 hours then ring if you haven't heard anything.0

As soon as I put the sim card in a spare phone to see if it worked it sent me an SMS of my username & password for 02s website.
So watch out if your giving the sim card away with the phone.
I have a lump of o2 sims from previous freebie posts. Will the same happen with these as I was planning to open the box and make a swap prior to selling?Blitzkreig Bob says Hi to those checking his validity!0 -

Interesting...would a way round this be to change your password online now or would that still send a sms to your sim/phone? Certainly thinking about Amazoning the phone but not happy about leaving the sim in the box now....0 -
the only thing to do is get a free sim and stick that one in.
Just to confirm?
2 per name or household?0 -

With the O2 website, mine did this too. But the 'my order' section suddenly appeared today and seems okay now. It could just be another glitch in the system
As for the tracking, I think someone suggested earlier putting your ident in both the from and to boxes...worth a try.

Ive recieved 2 tracking numbers in 2 emails, 1 had 1 number in the other had the same one again and another different one that doesnt work. At each stage i seem to have recieved 2 emails. Hopefully i wont be recieving 2 phones. I ordered today online and it claims i should recieve it tomorrow. But it does seem to indicate that their system is a bit flaky.0 -

I replied to you at post 323.
I was expecting mine to have been waiting at the DHL depot today, but it was a pair of shoes I'd ordered! Haven't had the balls to tell DH - he'd kill me if he knew I've ordered MORE shoes!!!0
