Wesker wrote:i tried to order another one today too, but order was declined online so i phoned them. the lady i spoke to said they are having a lot of problems today with orders being declined, something to do with cc companys being overcautious or something
anyway she tried to put my order through over the phone and it was declined again
she said probably best to leave it and try again tomorrow
i have to say this has really annoyed me as i have only ever bought 2 phones previous which was one for myself and one for husband. both over a year ago and wanted a new phone for xmas. o2 are a joke:mad:0 -
Ok, ive ordered today , at 11 am, had no response email to say its ordere and no money showing gone from the bank? how long before you see some action?
or do they not take payment till despatch?0 -
Anyone got the terms and conditions about amount to order etc.. Can't seem to find them on the website0

I would have to say I think O2 are on extremely dodgy ground by declining orders yet still earmarking funds from bank accounts for days on end (this will still mean payments to other companies/cash machine withdrawals will be refused if it means you approach your overdraft limit), and if you're under the impression that no money has been taken because O2 have declined the order, would they then be liable for any excess charges for returned cheques etc on your account? I would certainly be chasing them for recovery of any such losses, and I hope anyone here who suffers in this way will also.....0

But if the offer has been declined then no money should have left your bank. I think some people can the cancel email and still money was taken.0

Legally you stand nowhere. They have every right to sell or not sell.0 -

My first order was cancelled by them on Monday afternoon but yet they have still taken the money from my credit card Monday morning and I have been told it will take up to 14 days for this to be put back into my account. Where do I stand legally on this? Most companies don't take the money until goods are dispatched! All my savings are going on the family holiday!
Off to Majorca again this year ;-)0
