Unfortunatly for me,the only options I have in my exchange are O2 or BT,so I'm sticking with O2,despite the price rise.

Hmm.... tempting. If I can get that deal might get me to stay. Trouble is, what to do with £40 of PAYG credit?

Furthermore, by going to Sky HD for everything, I only pay £54.50pcm.
Do you ever travel abroad?? If so, keep the O2PAYG phone for these trips. Calls and texts are very expensive from, say, the Caribbean so my OH and I use our accumulated credits when we travel:)

That's a great idea! Never thought of that, pity I have a phone I use when I travel to my usual destination. Thanks, will consider it, have to travel to other places anyway, broaden my horizon. :D

Yes, you can. One number per broadband account and vice versa.

Hi again, my friend is on a monthly contract, surely O2 will see the different name and address?

Have I missed something or will they not mind?

I will try today. Maybe I should just change the O2 number online and see what happens?
