NSD # 9for me today please...yesterday I failed even though I never left the village as it was a school fundraiser fete and ended up spending all £30 that I had for this weeks groceries and my penny pot emptied of all silver and gold :( I won some sweets and got tomato plants and strawberries...hmmm
Tomorrow I have to work so NSD I hope, ditto for tuesday and thursday...watch this space though ~ just realised the most I can acheive is 16 out of my 20 planned even if I am really good...bummer. I failed. Did need an unexpected new dishwasher and shoes for kids though.
    Good luck everyone else.

Good evening all, I hope everyone's having a great weekend and been enjoying the sunshine. I haven't managed to keep up to date with this thread as I've been away with work for the last week or so, its also limited my ability to get many NSDs in. But yesterday was a nice NSD and so i'll claim NSD 5.

This has been my first month doing this challenege and I haven't can't see myself getting up to the 10 NSDs I was hoping for but its still been a good learning experience as its highlighted all the small spends I was making that I could potentially cut out.

I will do better next month.

Hee hee Jinty - just wait until next season ;) Puss has turned up safe and well, no idea where she's been but none the worse for her adventures.

Forgive me Spoony for I have sinned... I have deff not had a NSD today and spent far more than I should :o I took some clothes back to the shopping centre nearby, then also stopped in HoF to take advantage of their Bonus time offer. Got some more cleanser and moiustureiser (now I think I should have bought the pump as it would have been cheaper per ml :() and that set me back £31.50  I then stopped in at my friends, who had seen another friend ealier and picked up some clarifying lotion for me (she'd mentioned she had some before and didn't like it so would see it to me for £10 - which was a good deal)...but that was another £10  I also had to get some body scrub in B**ts as I need a little exfoliation after my hols, and love the Soap n Glory range...which err isn't cheap either :o:o:o Oh....and then I might have bought another moistureiser on fleabay when I got home to have one in stock - £5.79 (£3 p&p but I already had that in my paypal account) but I now have no idea why I felt compelled to make the purchase, except the listing was mis-spelt and I thought it was a bargain ....what is wrong with me today? I mean it was considerably cheaper than the noraml £20 or so...but really....*slaps forehead*

I also stopped at Mr M on the way back to pick up some bread and bits (literally not a slice left in the house) didn't do too badly, bread, rivita, rice cakes, some smoked salmon slices (for lunches...ok a little extravagent) and a few bits for £10. Should do us until pay day thank goodness.

While I was in Mr M they were doing the final reductions - OMG people were literally fighting over the backery items, one elderly lady and a man were arguing over some pecan slice things, the store person doing the reductions was saying 'I'm not reducing anything anyone is holding or asking me to reduce' and there was squabbles over virtually everything. Seriously, it was like kids in the playground, I'm all for a bargain but not at the price of potentially losing blood. Cheryl are they like that in your store?

Well, back on the NSD wagon for me tomorrow - I am really quite poor until pay day. My own fault - socks pulled up for next month. I was going to take the clinique stuff out of next month's budget, but I think I will just count it as an overspend this month and regroup in June.
