Training course today, and succumbed to the lure of a cheese savoury sandwich at lunchtime (sigh!)
Also car a bit norty again on way home, kept stalling on me. Arranged to take to garage tomorrow, thinks it's a simple problem but will still cost about £40 to fix. (Double sigh!)
Then DS brought letter home about school trip in the autumn. Wants £50 deposit like yesterday. (Triple sigh with brass knobs on!)

Howevvvvahhhh.......checking my bank details I found I have counted a direct debit twice by mistake and also allowed for a direct debit this month which is not due till next month. I am actually about £120 better off than I thought I was (Wahayyy!!)

So by the time I have given DS his £50 trip deposit and paid £40 for the car repair plus given OH some petrol money (it will cost him around £15 in juice to run me to work and back tomorrow) I should still have about £15 to paint the town red with. Well, a bit of the town. Well, just a couple of paving slabs and half a corner shop maybe. Oh, all right, I'll settle for a packet of crisps then, I know how to enjoy myself....

  • Yay, No 10 for me today - quite early in the month for me to make double figures.....

That's what the shock of a massive cc bill that needs paid at the end of the month will do to you!

Yes appears I am now up to 3 NSD's. Wish I could get excited but appear to have lost my mobile this afternoon whilst at a deceased friend's house cutting his grass before the house gets sold. Going to have to go and take a bag of grass apart tomorrow to see if its in there. It's not even on so I can't ring it.

Feel like my right arm's been chopped off :(

Well, I have arranged to take an "emergency day off" tomorrow to get the car sorted, the day to be paid back at some other time. Therefore I will not have to get OH to ferry me to work and consequently will have no petrol money to fork out. Life is indeed good at times. Just hope and pray my tame mechanic doesn't find anything else wrong with the car tomorrow.

Evening all! Well i've clocked up NSD #3. :j Feel I'm a bit slow off the mark this month seeing some of the totals so far but have to keep reminding myself that I have been on hols and therefore didn't count on week of this month, plus my first target when I started this challenge back in Aug was 8, and I wasn't even sure I could manage that at the time - just shows how my mindset has changed :T

Nargle - why don't we have a NSD outing to paint the town red with you? Rule is we all have to come dressed as something red

Butti - sorry to hear about your phone, esp when you lost it doing something like that too - hope you find it ok x

Spoon - I was tempted to say something like 'if you think you can do better feel free to hop on stage' to that woman last night. Honestly, some people are never satisfied.

    Whoo! hump day tomorrow :j
